Poor Elizabeth! Her mother is evil and Elizabeth will be heartbroken. I think Jason is already aware of how skanky Sarah is and won't fall for that. I hope
Jason puts the nasty mom in her place. Thanks for the great update!

OMG I laughed so hard with Elizabeth and the rabid dog lol so freakiung funny.
Johnny sure did put his foot in his mouth. Loving Diane as always. Carol is an absolute bitch..with a mother like that who needs enimies and for her to call Sarah and Sarah jumping and dumping Lucky like that to go after Jason. I sure hope Jason doesn't get tore up and tears sarah up. With Jason talking of distancing himself away from Elizabeth and her so messed up I wonder if Lucky will work on her and get her to take him back. So much can happen. Awesome update please update soon

ok, bring Johnny over here so I can smack him! Stupid head. Now Jason is going to be prime for Sarah to try to seduce him since he wants to look for a quick
lay, our only hope is that knowing waht Sarah did to Liz he would know that sleeping with Sarah would be the ultimate worst thing he could ever do, so I hope
he at least puts her in her place. I hope Liz also can see through what Carolyn is doing and as much as it hurts finally let go of the hope for a mom who loves
ehr. These chapters gave great insight to all of that. Glad you are back, I have missed this story so much and to come back to so many chapters...even better !

Author's Note: These chapters are short, but sweet. I'm just setting up for the dinner so you're not getting it this time, but look for it
next update. Sorry, but I think the dinner should be a part all to itself. Hopefully, the dinner will hold up to my as well as your expectations. But like I
said, you'll have to wait. Until then...enjoy. "In my office," Elizabeth told Robin as she breezed by Robin's desk early Monday morning.
Robin looked up from the letter she was typing for Edward Quartermaine to see her friend practically dance to her office. Looking back at the computer screen at the important letter Edward needed posted early that morning, Robin hit save and then pushed away from her desk to see what had her friend so excited.
"So," Robin said, walking into Elizabeth's office the same time that she saw her friend float into her seat, kicking up her legs on her desk with a big smile on her face, "what's got you so chipper this morning. Or should I ask, who?"
"Oh, it's definitely a who?" Elizabeth told her, the grin not leaving her face.
"And may I ask who the who is," Robin asked, quirking her eyebrow at Elizabeth, "or do I already know."
"I'll say the person you are probably thinking about is the one that has me so chipper, as you say," Elizabeth said with a giggle.
"So, you and Uncle Mac finally hooked up," Robin said jokingly. "Every since you sung Mary Had A Little Lamb to him in first grade, I new you had a little crush on him."
"Ha, ha," Elizabeth said, narrowing her eyes at Robin. "Try as you must, but you're not going to steal my joy."
"Okay, okay," Robin said, happy to see Elizabeth in such a good mood. "So, how good was Jason to put you in that great of mood?"
"Robin!" Elizabeth said exasperated, "We did not have sex!"
"Oh," Robin said, her enthusiasm deflated. "Well…"
"We almost had sex," Elizabeth interrupted, "If my mother hadn't interrupted us."
"You little whore," Robin squealed excitedly, sitting up in her chair. "Details. I need details."
"It's not a lot to say," Elizabeth said coyly. "We were playing a game of pool and things sort of got out of hand."
"How out of hand?" Robin asked curiously.
"Let's just say that tops came off, a bra came undone, and Jason channeled his inner child."
"What?" Robin said confused, the clarification not dawning on her until Elizabeth lifted her eyebrows then glanced down at her right breast.
"Oh," Robin nodding her head in understanding. "And then."
"And then we were interrupted by mother."
"You have got to be kidding me," Robin said indignantly. "Does this woman have a tracking device stuck up your ass that gives her a warning when you're having a good time?"
"Robin," Elizabeth chastised, "Language."
"I'm sorry Elizabeth," Robin told her, "but it must be said. If there was a poster child for a cock blocker, it would be your mother."
"Robin, it was my mother's first time walking in on me about to have sex," Elizabeth told her. "She's never interrupted Lucky and me having sex."
"Well, that's a cock she should have blocked," Robin muttered.
"Robin," Elizabeth chastised her friend once again.
"Sorry, sorry," Robin said. "So, if you were cock blocked, why the happy grin?"
"My mother and I got into an argument after she found me and Jason," Elizabeth began.
"And you finally put her in her place," Robin interjected.
"No," Elizabeth said. "Well, not really. But anyway, I said something that set my mother off and she slapped me."
"And you beat the bitch down," Robin said with a smug smile on her face,
"No!" Elizabeth said shaking her head. "Who's telling this story? You or me?"
"You are," Robin said miffed, "but your story is starting to suck."
"That's because you're not letting me get to the good part," Elizabeth told her.
"Well hurry up and get to the good part," Robin told her, "because besides Jason milking you, this story sucks."
"Robin," Elizabeth said shocked, "jeez, sometimes I wish you weren't raised around a bunch of cops."
"Yea," Robin said with an impish smile, "I know I should try to be more lady like, but hell, who has the time to be a lady when there is so little time and so many men to do?"
Elizabeth shook her head at her friend's tact knowing that she wasn't going to change her. Robin was Robin. She was a take it or leave it kind of girl.
"Anyway," Elizabeth continued, "as I was saying. My mother slapped me and Jason jumped to my defense."
Robin sat there when Elizabeth went silent with a smug smile on her face.
"Ooookay," Robin said after the moment of silence, "first off, I'm going to teach you how to tell a good story because like I said, your story sucks balls. And for the life of me, I don't see how a titty suck is keeping that big of a smile on your face. That's basically second base material."
"Robin!" Elizabeth squeaked shocked.
"Excuse me," Robin said sarcastically, rolling her eyes, "a breast suck."
"My story is about to get good," Elizabeth said.
"Well do you mind getting to it?" Robin said exasperated. "I'm supposed to be typing a letter for Mr. Q that's due by 10 a.m. and the way you are telling this story I'm not going to get back to it until 10 p.m."
"Okay, okay," Elizabeth said, throwing up her hand in surrender. "So, Jason's defending me."
"And he gives your mother the beat down," Robin said hopefully.
"No," she was told, "but he does throw her out of the apartment and tells her not to come back?"
"And Jason just became my favorite guy," Robin said impressed.
"And after he throws her out, he tells me that I should cut my losses."
"I knew he wasn't just a pretty face," Robin said, liking Jason more and more.
"And I start defending my mother," Elizabeth said.
"Typical Liz," Robin said.
"And we kind of have this mini-argument."
"Webber," Robin said, this time chastising Elizabeth, "sometimes I wonder why I put up with you. You're a hopeless case when it comes to your mother."
"Anyway," Elizabeth said, narrowing her eyes at Robin making Robin roll her eyes. "Later on I go to his room to apologize and we come to an understanding."
"And," Robin said, now bored with the story.
"And I watched him sleep," Elizabeth confided.
"Am I supposed to say Ahh," Robin asked confused. "Because you know Liz, I'm not an ahh girl. If you're looking for an ahh moment, I'm not the girl to help you in this endeavor."
"And while I'm watching him sleep," Elizabeth continued ignoring Robin's interruption, "I start thinking about us playing pool and a light bulb comes on and I remember something. I remember while we were getting dressed after my mother interrupted us that Jason was laughing about it and I said it wasn't funny that my mother caught me about to have sex with him. And he tells me something to the effect that I shouldn't be embarrassed that my mother caught us in my home about to make love. He used the word make love instead of sex."
"Ahh," Robin said sincerely with a goofy grin on her face to match Elizabeth. "He saw it as you guys making love on the pool table."
A huge grin came on Elizabeth face as she nodded her head and bounced in her chair at the same time.
"Isn't that great," she said. "Mr. Non-commitment applied the words making love to us."
"Are you sure that he didn't use the phrase when he talked about his other conquests?" Robin asked rationally.
"No," Elizabeth said, swinging her legs from the top of her desk to bounce up from her chair. "He says sex. He doesn't say making love when he's talking about Sam or other women. So, this has got me to thinking."
"About," Robin said.
"About pursuing Jason romantically," Elizabeth said, turning a 100-watt smile on her friend.
"Hold your horses Webber," Robin said, not wanting to rain on her friend's parade, but also not wanting her to invest into something that could be potential heartache. "Just because Jason said making love doesn't mean that he now does committed relationships. It could be just a slip of his tongue."
"Maybe," Elizabeth agreed, "but maybe it's more. Robin, he's given me a nickname. He calls me Tink for Tinkerbell."
Robin narrowed her eyes and looked at her friend as she was studying her. "I don't see it," Robin told her after scrutinizing her.
"Yea, but Jason does," Elizabeth told her. "And that's what matters. He's given me a nickname, he mentioned the words making love, and he's going to dinner with my family tomorrow night."
"What?" Robin said sitting up in her seat. "Wait a minute. Time out. Okay, he throws your mother out of your apartment after she hits you and then you both turn around and decide that you're going to play meet the parents."
"Well," Elizabeth said, "my mother called yesterday; seems like she had a change of heart about the whole situation. She wants Jason and me to come to dinner to apologize to both of us for her rude behavior."
"Your mother," Robin said dubiously, "Carol Webber. Wants to apologize. I smell set-up."
"Now Robin," Elizabeth began.
"No Elizabeth," Robin said looking at her friend. "This has trap written all over it."
"Robin," Elizabeth said, "she sounded really sincere. And you know my mother. She never apologizes for anything. And she apologized this time."
"All the more reason to be weary," Robin said, shaking her head. "I don't trust this Elizabeth."
"I know you're suspicious of my mother and don't like her," Elizabeth said just to hear Robin scoff in agreement, "but she sounded different this time. She really sounded like she wanted to make amends."
"Elizabeth..."
"Robin," Elizabeth interrupted. "I'm going to go to dinner tomorrow night to my mother with Jason on my arm and I'm going to have faith that when it is over, my mother and I are going to be closer and Jason and I will be heading into relationship territory."
"You might get the one with Jason," Robin said, "but I highly doubt you're going to get the other."
"You're such a party pooper," Elizabeth said, stopping her pacing and flopping down in her seat.
"No, I'm just not a masochist like you when it comes to your mother," Robin told Elizabeth.
"Fine," Elizabeth said giving up, "but do you think I have a chance with Jason? Do you think I have a chance to make him commit to me?"
Robin looked at her friend and let out a sigh. "Okay, he's made up a nickname for you, he took you Christmas tree shopping and helped you decorate the tree, he almost had sex…excuse me, made love to you, and he's actually going to sit down at a table with your insufferable mother."
Elizabeth looked at Robin apprehensively as Robin sat quietly pondering.
"Well," Elizabeth stated impatiently.
"I say go for it," Robin said, a smile blossoming on her face. "Like Jake said, Jason just needs to meet the right woman to realize what he really wants."
"And you think I'm that right woman," Elizabeth asked with a smile on her face.
"I say you're perfect for him," Robin told her.
Both of them let out a squeal of excitement and begin to do a chair dance when they heard someone clear their throat in Elizabeth doorway causing them both to freeze mid dance to look to find Edward Quartermaine in the door.
"Sorry to interrupt Dance Fever," he said sarcastically, "but I have a letter that should be sitting on my desk by 10 a.m. and I highly doubt that that is going to happen considering that my secretary is sitting in this office with my assistant dancing instead of at her desk."
"Sorry Mr. Q," Robin said, getting up from her chair and scurrying out the door to leave Edward and Elizabeth by themselves in her office.
"Sorry about that Mr. Q," Elizabeth apologized looking at the old man. "I took Robin away from her desk so it's my fault for distracting her."
"Please," Edward said, throwing up his hand in dismissal as he advanced in the room, "that girl can let a paper clip distract her. But let's forget about her for a moment my dear and concentrate on you."
"On me," Elizabeth repeated, worried at the gleam that she saw in Edward's eyes.
"Yes," Edward said. "How are you doing My Dear?"
"Just fine, Mr. Q." Elizabeth hedged suspiciously.
"Not still thinking about that degenerate Lucky Spencer, are you," he asked her scrutinizing her.
"Can't say that I am," Elizabeth told her returning his look.
"Good, good," Edward said enthusiastically, clapping his hands together with a smile coming to his face, "because I'm telling you now, my grandson…"
"Mr. Q," Elizabeth interrupted, not wanting Edward to push his grandson A.J. on her when she already had her eyes on his other grandson which he knew nothing about. "I'm just not ready."
"But you are My Girl," Edward said emphatically. "And my grandson is perfect for you. He'll keep you on your toes, has a good head for business, and you My Dear would look wonderful on his arm."
"That maybe true," Elizabeth hedged. "But…"
"No buts my dear," Edward interrupted, "you and my grandson are going to be a beautiful couple and I can't wait for some beautiful great grandchildren that can carry on the ELQ legacy."
And with that, Edward turned with a smile on his face and walked out the door leaving Elizabeth speechless as she dropped her head into her hands. How was she going to break it to Edward that she didn't have eyes for A.J. but rather Jason? She doubted that it was going to sit right with the old man that she wanted the grandson that didn't want to carry on the legacy versus the grandson that was all for it.
Chapter 63
"So Handsome, what are you doing here," Jake asked as she placed a beer in front of Jason as he sat in the back of the bar.
"I always come here to unwind after work," Jason told Jake as he took a drink from the bottle that she had sat down in front of him.
"Yea, well that was before you had your little spitfire to go home to," Jake said to him.
"She's not my little spitfire," Jason told her as he looked around the bar, not looking Jake in the eye.
"What gives Jason," Jake asked, finally pulling out a chair and sitting down across from her. "Why are you here when you have someone waiting at home for you?"
"She's my roommate," Jason told Jake, finally looking at her. "She's not waiting at home for me."
"So why are you hiding out at my bar then?" Jake asked quirking an eyebrow.
"I'm not hiding out," Jason told her. "I'm just here to see how the action is tonight Jake. That's all."
Jason began to look around the bar once again as he felt Jake's eyes on him, scrutinizing him.
"Why are you trying so hard to fight this?" Jake finally asked him after a minute of silence.
"Fight what?" Jason asked playing innocent.
"Jason, I have known you for years. I've seen you at your best and at your worst, and I can tell you now Handsome, playing dumb is not your forte."
"I'm not what Elizabeth needs Jake," Jason told her, finally acknowledging what she was getting at as he took a sip of his drink.
"And you're deciding this for her."
"I'm not deciding anything," Jason said. "I know me and I know her and we want different things out of life."
"Jason, you're only twenty-five, how are you so sure about what you do or don't want out of life?"
"Because I know me Jake," Jason said, not understanding what she was getting at.
"Oh Sweet Stuff," Jake said as she rose up from her chair, "That is where I think we are going to have to disagree."
Jake walked around the table and cupped his cheek making him look at her.
"Be careful Blue Eyes," she warned, "sometimes being so sure of yourself can make you miss out on something that would have made you happier beyond belief."
With that Jake turned and walked away from Jason back to the bar leaving him there to ponder what she said.
~XOXOXOXOXOXOXO~
Six hours later Jason opened the door to his apartment and made his way in to the sound of silence. He had stayed at Jake's for another two hours before her many glances at him filled with unasked questions finally drove him out of there. He had spent the next three hours riding his bike around the city of Port Charles up through the cliff roads and then back again and the last hour sitting outside their apartment building like a coward waiting for the living room and Elizabeth's bedroom window to go off signaling that she was sleep.
Right now he didn't want to see or talk to her. Too many things were running around in his head coupled with too many emotions and by seeing or talking to Elizabeth, it only made him more confused and unsure about himself. And those were feelings that he wasn't use to and didn't like feeling. He started toward his bedroom, stopping in the hallway when he got to hers. Against his better judgment, he opened the door to her bedroom to find her fast asleep huddled underneath the covers looking like a little girl.
Jason slowly made his way over to the bed silently not wanting to wake her. He eased down slowly on her bed to look down at her thanks impart to the moonlight streaming through her window. Quietly he reached out a finger to brush a curl that had come loose from her ponytail off her forehead before he let the same finger caress her cheek. A smile came on his face as a sigh of contentment came out of her in her sleep.
"Oh Tink," he whispered quietly. "I'm only doing what's best for the both of us. I only belong in your life as a friend. It's best that you realize this now instead of seeing me as something I'll never be."
Jason pulled his finger away from her cheek and got up from her bed making his way out of her room and shutting the door quietly behind him. He made his way to his room and went in to close the door behind him to lean against it. He took a deep breath and blew it out, his mind pondering that if this was such the right thing for him and Elizabeth, why some part of him felt like he was making a big mistake.

Jason Morgan is a punk ass. I have loved all his yummy goodness from jump in this story now he's going to do something stupid and wussy. That's just
not fair to Elizabeth. Damn it I want to smack him for being such a wuss. I love Robin and I'm starting to believe Elizabeth needs a shrink not a
