Morning all! Loved TTs post. The 14 year olde haven't taken that class yet, so they'll be totally confused.
Have a great day, everyone. I have to work and they banned this site (they actually expect me to get work done? Don't they know the rules about weekends?) |

TT: I Love Together Always! Good mythological stuff. Sadly, that review was more riveting than the show has been in some time.

Good moning ladies!!! I caught some of the show last night, worked late, and just happened to settle on soapnet, totally wasn't planned!! LOL!! Can I
just love Johnny?? I liked the Jason and Johnny scenes, as for the rest of what I saw...ehhh! Kinda liked that Michael/Carly scene...just because she
admitted she's a better liar, ha!!

LOL Especially the note to midwesterners....that it's a dry heat but it's about 100 degrees of a dry heat. I'm used to the humid/muggy heat here in St. Louis and was surprised last year in LA how "cool" it got when the sun went down. Here...it's still hot and muggy when the sun goes down. LOL

Well the storms and lightening ruined my playtime on here last night.
As expected I liked the Jason and Johnny scenes. Him talking up a storm in the woods cracked me up. Have I mention how much more I like him without Lulu because I do. TT-I think that one is my fav. Carole-the chicken dance. Classic. Stacy- Hope all goes well for you with your dad and that he continues to progress in the right direction. Thinking of you and your family. Thank you for the update. Take care.
Kudos to Sonja for this lovely banner

Never been to LA but totally know how you feel about humid and muggy. More times then not the rain makes it even more muggy. Ick. Now I must go ran errands.

continues with a Jason/Johnny bromance. My Liason hope would be that Johnny takes over as the enforcer and Jason can have his family. But I have a feeling Claudia might get in the way. And it is GH so why should
they run with anything good.

I liked the Johnny/Jason scene in the woods too. It's about the only thing I did enjoy about yesterdays show. Johnny cracked me up! I'm really
starting to like him again now that he's no longer with Lulu. To my suprise, I even like him and Olivia.
Poor Jason, he's been reduced down to nothing more than Sonny's lapdog and babysitter to his spawn. No wonder Steve isn't happy. I'm not happy either. I miss the Jason I saw with Elizabeth. The guy who had a conscience, who was constantly conflicted within himself. The one who was heartbroken from wanting to be with the woman he loves and his son, but felt like he couldn't be. I don't know how to explain it but when Jason is with Elizabeth, it's like he's a different person, and I miss that person. Another thing I noticed I miss are the Jason/Spinelli scenes. They always made me laugh. It's sad what this show has become.
Thanks Sonja for the beautiful banner |

Really didn't like Jason's dialogue in the garage - unless we are supposed to believe he was lying. I guess the way SB played it, the latter is
possible. I was so grossed out by Nik/Becca and Sonny/Claudia, it was difficult to think of any redeeming elements of yesterday's show.

camellia1975 wrote: IA it bothered me that he so quickly said that he had never wanted to get out...twice. I also didn't like how cold they had him be about going out to kill a group of people even other mobsters....because unless I misunderstood when he was talking to Sonny I got the impression that he was going to send a message not negotiate and just to kill them whether they came to try and negotiate or not. I also didn't like him saying he would have no problem killing Johnny if he thought he was involved..Johnny was shown as conflicted and human and Jason not and I don't think that is true to his character...also I don't like that since we know Dominic escapes and takes Morgan and Michael hostage that once again they are setting Jason up to 'fail' and feel guilty again. Johnny on the other hand is being written sympathetically and if spoilers are right is going to save Jason's life....
Nik/Becca and Sonny/Clod were nauseating from recaps; I can't imagine watching it. I just watched the Jason scenes on YT. I did like the dynamic between SBu and BB though.

All of Jason's pairings..whether it be with Sam, Elizabeth, the cleaning lady at the Metro Court..are on HOLD.I actually believe this...it makes sense to me. Why put the guy in a forward moving storyline in case he leaves? I do think they'll give him what he wants and I'm hoping it includes no JaSpam! That is not the right direction for his character. Makes him look like an idiot! As for being upset about the direction of Jason... aren't we all?

Still haven't seen yesterday's Jason scenes. And by the sound of it the character assassination continues.
What are they doing to my Jason? The line
about him never wanting to get out of the life is a complete 180 cause did he not say the complete opposite when he was with Liz? Well he never came out and
said it directly but with the talks they had it sounded like he was hinting at and IF he could and if things were different he would chose Liz and the kids. He
always just kept saying he's in it too deep now and can't leave. Or maybe I'm just being delusional and imagined all that.

mom8970 wrote:Yeah, "playing it tough" is the most positive perception of that scene IMO. It's difficult to comprehend why they want to make the leading character unlikable and unsympathetic. Then again, as has often been observed, so much about GH is incomprehensible. *avi from randyy* |

I didn't mind Jason's scenes from yesterday. To me he was just saying to Johnny what Johnny needed to hear. Jason was the teacher and Johnny was the
student.
Also, there is still a question of Johnny's loyalty. I don't think Jason would share his feelings with Johnny, especially since there is the possibility that he may be killing him if things don't go as planned. |

camellia1975 wrote:It was another case of GH not valuing character integrity. It would have been a much better scene and better writing if you had Johnny be the one trying to convince Jason he was the tough guy and being a hard ass/cocky and Jason being the one who was shown as the older/wiser and certainly conflicted enforcer....after all he has been shown to realize that his choices as a young man cost him a chance at happiness, cost him a life with his son with Elizabeth etc...It would have actually have made the line about how he makes people disappear and one day someone would make him disappear stronger and more meaningful. |
