What a great story. I cannot believe it was your first. I am so happy and sad at the same time because it was truly a priviledge to read this body of work but
now there is no more "Opening Day" updates to look forward to.

I'm so sad to see this story end. I'm hoping for an 'After the Season' continuation--???? I liked how you tied everything together at the end,
including the People magazine photoshoot and Lila's involvement.

For a story that started out as a joke, you sure took us all along on a fantastic ride! LOL
This was fun, flirty, sexy, smart and just a joy to read! And I think you ended it perfectly! I'm glad Alcazar was understanding but stern in his convictions too and that Elizabeth was able to stay on as the team's therapist in some capacity. She did the right thing by "quitting", proving, (as we already knew), that her love and desire to be with Jason surpassed her need to keep her position. But she was smart about it. LOL, yes! They finally made use of the office and desk! LOL! Thank you for this wonderful story Karen! |
