Posts: 2197 10/05/09 5:31 PM	soapzone Previews for the week of 05-Oct-2009 by Carol Banks Weber Claudia strong-arms Olivia into quitting Johnny for good. Olivia feels she has no choice but to do what Claudia wants, since Claudia holds all the cards (the secret). Johnny fights it, insisting he and Olivia have what it takes to make it. Johnny slams Claudia for somehow orchestrating Olivia's split with him. Dominic rallies to Claudia's side when Johnny attacks her character. Claudia puts on Miss Innocent for Johnny, but he ain't buyin'. Olivia has to bring Sonny up in a falsehood for Johnny to back off. Secretly, Olivia plots Claudia's downfall. Olivia readies herself to spill Claudia's beans on Jason. Olivia brings this up to Jax. Sonny badgers Olivia about the reasons for her quitting Johnny. Sonny breaks it to Claudia that he has no intention of providing a baby for her. His provides a caveat though (which spells doom for Dominic): if she's already knocked up, cool. Unfortunately for Dominic, Claudia takes a pregnancy test and sees no kids from Sonny on the horizon. Claudia comes on strong to Dominic. Claudia forces Olivia to reserve a suite at Metro Court for her and her next lover, but use a different name. Claudia lures Dominic into her honeymoon suite, fixated on making a baby. Little does Claudia know, but Dominic has a wire on him. Dominic rebuffs Claudia's advances. Claudia strong-arms Dominic into doing the baby-providing for her. When Dominic balks, Claudia drops the secret she listened in on when Kate and Olivia were talking - out in the open for anyone to eavesdrop. Sonny catches Claudia acting suspiciously at the Metro Court, like she had a rendez-vous of some sort. Dominic fingers Tommy as the rat in Sonny's mob. Dominic pretends to pull off Sonny's ordered hit on Tommy. In order to pull this off, Dominic must fill Tommy in on his real mission and set the guy free, after exacting a promise for cooperation with authorities. The authorities charge Dominic with the task of hiding a wire when amassing dirt on Sonny. Ronnie dismisses Dominic from his undercover service. Dominic will do one better, he'll resign as a cop altogether. Dominic's undercover mission has not been compromised. He's still on board for shutting Sonny down-as a civilian. Alexis nags Michael to check himself when the boy gets too hotheaded. Carly ruminates on baby girl names and settles on one. Michael suffers from one memory bombardment after another, surrounding Claudia's role in his coma. Michael taps into a private convo between Carly and Kristina. His face darkens when they speak about his predicament. Michael blows a gasket. Michael commits aggravated assault on Kiefer when the guy comes by to get Kristina and Molly. Alexis yells at Michael to get the hell out and never go near her girls again. Carly calls Alexis out for being mean and judgmental to Michael. Carly and Jax applaud Michael remembering more of the who, what and why. Sam would rather Kristina maintain her virginity. But, because she's a good sister, she would rather Kristina practice safe sex if she's determined to have sex with Kiefer. On that note, Sam escorts Kristina to the health clinic for birth control. Jason, Sam and Spinelli endeavor to close the case on Claudia and render her a non-issue. To do that, they must infiltrate the warehouse where the cops keep all the evidence. In this warehouse is a purported tape and tape recorder belonging to Ian Devlin. Lucky busts Jason and Sam with their hand in the proverbial cookie jar. Nikolas bends Robin's ear about his thing for Elizabeth. Robin's response to Nikolas about Elizabeth is typical do-gooder: stay away, stop lusting for Liz. Lucky almost reads Elizabeth's love note to Nikolas. Helena tips Luke off about a more evil Cassadine out to do him wrong. Wait for it, his name is Vlad and he is another bastard coming out of Mikko's family tree. Helena makes Nikolas heed the Vlad doom. Vlad fixes to eke pain on everybody. Nikolas must extricate Luke, Ethan and Lulu from evildoers' clutches. Patrick runs into Louise, the girlfriend of someone he used to pal around with before. They agree to hit Jake's for karaoke and old times. Robin shouldn't mind, she must remain at the hospital to finish her shift. Robin tries to break up the monotony in her marriage-with terrible result. Next week: Luke goes to Alexis to educate himself on the missing limbs in the Cassadine tree… Elizabeth succumbs to someone else's vendetta... Sam tries to explain to Lucky what's going on here… Anthony hasn't given up antagonizing Sonny yet… If Claudia doesn't knock it off soon, Olivia will strike back… No matter what Johnny does or says, Olivia remains immutable… Claudia backtracks with deceit, when Sonny makes inquiries… Carly runs into big trouble… Jason chases down leads against Claudia… The lights go on about Claudia for Dominic… Michael continues receiving more of his memory… Sam gets out of a jam... Posts: 2197 10/05/09 5:46 PM	News for the week of 05-Oct-2009 by Carol Banks Weber Shortly after Greg Vaughan (Lucky III) announced on his Twitter page September 28th that he and TPTB have "chosen to take a new direction," with him "no longer" a "part of what has been a big part of me and my family's life," all the soap sites came out with reports of Jonathan Jackson agreeing to return for a short while to reprise his original character. In the first, exclusive interview with the winsome actor on September 29th, TV Guide columnist Michael Logan learned that after several tries, GH finally found the right timing. Jackson said he went to his family (former Hannah, Lisa Vultaggio is his wife and the mother to their two children) and his GH mentor Tony Geary (Luke) for their feedback before giving TPTB his okay. The return will last for about six months, starting October 1 and include a break to allow the Washington-based Jackson and clan to move to L.A. Of his return after a 10-year absence, Jackson said, "I'm sort of in a whirlwind. This is pretty much out of the blue." During his absence, Jackson has been busy making a name for himself in film, television, music (with his band, Enation), writing books and screenplays. (If you love the original Lucky as I do, please I beg of you, do not go to the GH board. They would tear Jesus Christ apart if he appeared on GH. I think even Satan is afraid of them.) Sarah Joy Brown (Claudia; ex-Carly) probably left GH a bit prematurely to take on a new role on B&B, as Sandy Sommers, someone who interacts with Bridget, Whip (Rick Hearst/ex-Ric) and Nick (Jack Wagner/ex-Frisco). Brown started work on B&B last week and is supposedly on a two-year contract. If Carolyn Hennesy (Diane) makes it to the bigtime, in primetime with her scene-stealing supporting role as real estate tycoon-turned man eater, Barb, on the new fall series, Cougar Town, she said she still would not turn her back on her daytime roots. In a September 29th interview with Our Prattville's Melissa Parker, the actress said she enjoyed doing the series, but she'd never count Diane out. Hennesy also spoke at length about her other role, as that of an author of young teen girls' books. Like most authors, she has her on-fire days and her blank-page days. When she's on fire, the words just flow out, unbidden, and her husband steers clear. When she just doesn't feel it, she does something else like gardening or knitting. Movie star James Franco (Spider-Man 3, Pineapple Express, Milk) made the first move, by inquiring as to GH availability. He'll film on October 30, November 6, and November 13 for shows to air next month, with his first appearance (as possibly a mob type threatening Jason) happening November 23. Franco and Steve Burton (Jason) have the same manager. When word of Franco's GH appearance spread online, AMC's Eden Riegel (ex-Bianca) clamored to get on to the soap too as a mob princess. Gossip for the week of 05-Oct-2009 by Carol Banks Weber Jonathan Jackson's return as the original Lucky was in the hopeful then planning stages for years. The only person who was surprised in this deal was poor Greg Vaughan (Lucky). Co-stars from Steve Burton (Jason) to Tyler Christopher (Nikolas) gave Vaughan some love on Twitter. Genie Francis (ex-Laura) and maybe Kin Shriner (Scott) will make their way back as well. What's this all about? Most likely the exodus of most of the Spencer clan, except Lulu. Luke, Laura and Lucky will permanently leave Port Charles in May 2010, effectively ending my 20-plus-year viewership (if true). Lulu will move in with the mob when she marries Dominic. Then, GH will officially be lost to Sonny and his mob of ill repute. Burton confirmed that actor James Franco would do GH for a little while, but hadn't any notion about Vanessa Marcil (ex-Brenda) following him. But the soap world was a buzz that this was so after The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels twittered about lunching with BFF Marcil and Marcil buzzing about wanting to co-star with Franco. Jason Thompson (Patrick) desired to stay on, maybe as Elizabeth's next paramour. But Kimberly McCullough (Robin) is rumored out sooner than later, her choice. Gina Tognoni (ex-Dinah, GL) bailed on a possible B&B role to reprise OLTL's original Kelly. Posts: 2197 10/11/09 1:02 PM	soapzone Previews for the week of 12-Oct-2009 by Carol Banks Weber Johnny won't take Olivia's no for an answer. She remains immutable. Sonny waves a Metro Court key at Claudia, WTF? Claudia purports falsehood over Sonny. Claudia gears herself up to a) get knocked up by any means necessary, and prevent Johnny and Olivia from loving one another. Claudia shows her fangs - blackmail - at Dominic when he says no means no. Dominic grasps the sick depths to which Claudia will go to maintain her hold on Sonny. Dominic relays to Lulu what Claudia would have him do behind Sonny's back. Dominic puts his foot down to Claudia; he will never be used as a sperminator by her. Claudia resolves to bring the truth about Dominic and Olivia to Sonny. Claudia never knows when to leave well enough alone. She just pick-pick-picks at Olivia but Olivia is no pushover. Olivia comes to the same conclusion as Claudia, lose the bargaining chip by coming out with the secret, as she makes her way to Sonny's. Ronnie reinstates Dominic to Sonny's case, which is great but bizarre to Dominic. It doesn't take Dom long to finger Jax in on this. Jason makes it painfully known to Claudia that she will not get away with her crimes. Claudia tries to convey to Jason that she's little miss goody-two-shoes, but he looks at her like a block of stone. Olivia begins to comprehend the lengths Jax will go to eliminate Sonny from the equation, when she suspects he pulled some strings to restore Dominic to his previous undercover status. Olivia gives Jax 10 kinds of hell about this betrayal. Johnny extends compassion to Claudia, which cheers her up. Claudia keeps talking like a psycho, which bothers Johnny. Carly has to endure a stressful event. It's called contractions. The two people Carly must rely on are Coleman and a loaded Johnny. Coleman and Johnny manage to safely steer Carly with the contactions to General Hospital. Doctors relay prognosis to Carly and Jax. Some of it's favorable, some of it's not. Anthony revs up for his next operation to spite Sonny, using syndicate psychopath Joey Limbo. Michael just can't shake incriminating visions against Claudia. Sonny commiserates with Michael about their common trait of losing tempers. Kristina tries to explain to Keifer that the birth control she just got only works after about two months, so they need to wait until then. But Keifer beguiles Kristina to forget the birth control crap and let him handle it, 'cause he needs to be inside her virgin flesh now. Looks like Kristina just hands over her virginity to that scoundrel Keifer. Last week, everything evil was Michael's fault in Alexis's eyes. Now, it's Sam's turn. What ends up happening is, Alexis acquires info about Molly at Jason's penthouse when he and Sam were in the middle of coitus. Instead of looking in the mirror, Alexis makes Sam be the bad guy to her precious girls. Sam can't believe the nerve and gall of Alexis. Lucky inserts himself into Jason and Sam's action-adventure. Sam must endure Lucky's yapping on about what they used to have, blah blah, while Jason remains in the shadows. Sam manages to evade having to explain herself with fast talking, with Lucky none the wiser. The long and the short of it is, Lucky releases Sam from his company and any trouble with the cops. Jason theorizes to Sam that what they are looking for is in Devlin's safety deposit box. Jason and Sam dig up coordinates to Devlin's motel room, go there, and go digging when an undercover flatfoot barges in, trying to arrest her for bringing a john into the joint. Sam and Jason untangle themselves from the flatfoot's interrogation to go back to Devlin's motel room, where they pick up something helpful. Luke and Ethan go into the Haunted Star after their latest adventure, meeting up with the mother of all conflicts. Nikolas rushes Helena into General Hospital for the best critical care. Nikolas's care of Helena astounds Elizabeth and Lucky. Luke pumps Alexis for anything she can recall about the Cassadines and this Valentin. After some back and forth with Helena, Alexis grasps the danger in this other Cassadine. Luke's excuse to Tracy is a wash. Helena can do nothing either. Helena makes it rough for Elizabeth. She has not forgotten their checkered past. When she scores the secret of Liz's and Nikolas's clandestine liaison, she knows she has a major bargaining chip. Helena dances around the secret, toying with a befuddled Lucky. Nikolas exerts his strong willpower into focusing only on Rebecca and not Elizabeth, for everybody's sake. Elizabeth can't help but feel stricken by Nikolas's refocus. What's up with Patrick and Louise? At first, maybe nothing but catching up with a philanthropic old friend of a former boyfriend. Patrick returns home with the former girlfriend of an old friend, Louise, and the two of them encounter Robin dressed to hump and pump. Robin dies of mortification, but Patrick makes up for her discomfort by giving her some sweet loving. Best of all, he tells her that he'd rather be here with her than anywhere else and she's the best thing to happen to him. Next week: Johnny works Olivia's resolve down to the bone. They make love and promise they must protect their affair from others… Dominic has a run-in with Jax about his meddling… Dominic asks Spinelli for a leg up… Sam and Jason toss a place and then they realize they can't get out in time… Dominic refuses Claudia, as does Johnny… Just as Claudia wraps Sonny around her little finger, Jason maneuvers to blow her plan sky high… Jason has to face off with a real bastard… Kristina confides in Michael about losing her virginity to Keifer… Michael experiences more visions from his past… Jax presses Michael about his remembrances concerning Jerry… Jax inwardly frets that once Carly figures this Michael stuff out, she'll dump him… Robin and Patrick find they must put their detective hats on… Sam/Jason and Robin/Patrick act in concert for the greater good at GH. ~Liason Addict #7~~Stecky Fan Always #10~ ~LiasonFan #678~

She even blackmails him, threatening to tell Sonny that he's Olivia's son. Claudia and Dante together might just be the worst thing to happen for Olivia, who then tries to get Dante reassigned by the cops. But there's one person who won't let that happen ... and it's Jax. Meanwhile, Jason and Sam are hot on a lead that could totally bust Claudia for Michael's shooting. So what the heck are they doing getting busted for prostitution? Elsewhere, Helena wastes absolutely no time manipulating her grandson's affairs. And we mean that literally -- she finds out about Nikolas and Elizabeth sleeping together. Will she tell Lucky and blow all their relationships apart? Across town, Carly goes into labor. Which is not a good thing, considering the baby would be premature. Will little Josslyn Jacks enter the world all right? All this, PLUS: Kristina makes the huge decision to sleep with Kiefer; Dante and Lulu continue to get closer; and we learn more about the new Cassadine threat looming over Port Charles.
