When are the writers going to get a clue and use the talented actors they have? (I'm not going to mention any names of the non-talented actors they insist on pushing in our faces, I'm sure you know who they are...) Now... let's prognosticate... Check into your crystal balls and tell what you think about the upcoming summer storylines... So the show is a Big FAT 1 to me and I hardly watch Im watching OLTL Now and watching Tess kick everybody's ass. However, I do think they have some potentially good stuff they could write..now if only they would ~Sara~ Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass.... It is about learning to dance in the rain! The problem is that they don't execute those plans well, and I have little faith that this season of plots will be any different. GH builds, and builds, and builds, and, just when you expect your big payoff, nothing happens. And I'm not just talking about Jason and Elizabeth's storyline. They've done this with others, too. With Claudia's debut, for one. So, while I might be looking forward to what's to come, I highly doubt that my anticipation will be deserved. Hence, I gave the show a 5 - right smack dab in the middle where there's hope but not too much of it where my spirits will be crushed. SINK Your Teeth Into a Little Romance. Same old stuff and now we have Claudia being thrown down our throats as we are now getting a constant barrage of others commenting about how much she likes Jason. She was batting her eyes about him today when she was talking with Johnny. God, I feel like JIP is happening again - but at least Sarah Brown can act. But still - Jason would never, NEVER think about her that way. And I just feel like they're heading in that direction. So "1" - cause I'm sick to death of no LIASON and no really good stories. Posts: 501 07/02/08 8:27 PM	I voted 8 because there are a couple of things I'm looking forward to this summer where GH is concerned: 1) JMB is getting married and will hopefully have a long vacay and screen absence in August 2) Tristan Rogers is going to be on NS2. This can't help but improve GH just from proximity of the soundstage!! 3) August has always been one of our couple's best months ever. 4) Spinelli, Maxie, Diane, and Max - these characters have all really grown on me recently and they make so much out of each scene they get. 5) And finally, the state of Liason. I decided that, even though I've been really bummed about lack of Liason screen time and story, it is actually very true to character what Elizabeth and Jason are doing right now. The story is very clear - Elizabeth is the better mother than Carly and Jason the better father than Sonny. They are going to do whatever they can to do right by Jake and keep him safe. They won't take the selfish route and choose to be together, consequences be damned. They are NOT Sonny and Carly, thank goodness. I've decided that I wouldn't love them if they didn't have the courage of their convictions on this one. So I am living in my bubble of angst, sad for my couple but glad that the writers have thus far kept their character integrity intact. That's my silver lining for now.
