When LL2 were married it seemed like Elizabeth had to make time or tell Luckless to spend time with the boys. Even now I'm skeptical on how much/little he's actually involved. I mean Luckless doesn't live with them and Elizabeth said that Luckless sees them as often as he did when they were married, but I don't know, it didn't really seem like that much, even before J Boy's trial. And even when he tried to spend time with the boys Elizabeth was nipping it in the butt.

Honestly Lore I think he's going to be a vindictive little bitch about it.
And I think the longer this drags on, the worse Liz and Jason will look for trying to take two little boys away from the only real father they've ever known and loved and relied on.I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I agree with what you said about Lucky being the only father those boys have ever known, loved and relied on. I'm stunned at how they've written Jason in this dumbass story. Just stunned.
I mean Luckless doesn't live with them and he sees them occasionally, granted still more than J Boy so I think where Cameron is concerned he'll ask about Luckless, but Luckless isn't exactly…consistent. I think they want us to believe that when Luckless disappears it will be something that's already familiar to Cameron. Although, I doubt Elizabeth would even cut off contact between Luckless/Cameron unless she's forced to do so.
As for Jake, it's not like Luckless/Jake's relationship is like J Boy/Michael's early relationship. J Boy was there every single day for a little over a year and we already know that Luckless has been there but really not that often.
But all and all I believe they are relying on the fact that Cake don't see Luckless everyday or consistently and therefore when J Boy enters the picture, a guy they both know, he'll just be another male presence in their life that will be there everyday. I don't know to me it seems like Cameron is comfy with J Boy so the transition may not be all that difficult. After the fire, which I would imagine is a confusing and traumatic experience for a 3 yr old, he had no problem running to J Boy for some comfort.
But all and all I like to believe that Elizabeth is the one who's really doing all of the work and Luckless is there for decoration and showing up every now and then. And that Cake will realize from the jump off how much cooler J Boy is than Luckless.
I don't know, I've had friends who went through similar situation with their kids and when a J Boy entered the picture it worked out for them. So who knows...but the bottomline is that the situation is simply ridic and it's making Liason look like idiots instead of a "martyr parents"
