Posts: 653 07/23/08 2:03 PM I'm going crazy... it's a short trip	Tags : None Here we go.... Maxie is gonna call the cops on Dr. Matt when Spinelli bursts in and attacks Dr. Matt. They both go down. Maxie gets a poker and tells Dr. Matt to leave Spinelli alone. Diane tells Jason he has to spend the night in jail. She doesn't know how bad things are. She says PCPD might charge him with aiding and abetting, accessory, and possible murder with special circumstances...all for helping Lulu. Karpov's attorney meets with Sonny at the MetroCourt restaurant. Claudia sits down with her father in the MetroCourt restaurant. He wants to know where Johnny is. The man says the professor died a few months ago and how he found the professor's body. Johnny talks nice about the professor. The man says the professor never mentioned a man named Joe. Posts: 653 07/23/08 2:11 PM I'm going crazy... it's a short trip	Spinelli gets away from Dr. Matt. Dr. Matt says something about walking around his own living room. Maxie is flabbergasted and goes to use the phone. Robin shows up saying Dr. Matt is Maxie's new roommate. Sonny talks to the attorney to iron out details. Sonny says he will not take an active role and the deal breaker is that Karpov has to coexist peacefully with Jason's organization. Claudia tells Anthony she hasn't heard from Johnny and he can take care of himself. He threatens her life is something happens to Johnny. Nikolas and Nadine talk about grief and blessings and the things he and Emily made it through. blah, blah, blah Jason asks for best case scenario. She says she will try and convince a judge that he acted heroically. She mentions his past charges. They argue about the scenario and where Lulu might have gotten a gun. He mentions the Quartermaines. He tells her not to go for the warrant for the Quartermaines. They argue about her possible scenarios. He says they need to stick with the story that Lulu is a hostage. Posts: 653 07/23/08 2:21 PM I'm going crazy... it's a short trip	Maxie is appalled that Robin rented Georgie's room to Dr. Matt. Maxie says Robin doesn't have the right. Georgie's room is completely different because Mac thought Robin would move back in. Robin defends her actions. Spinelli agrees. Dr. Matt comes down and tells Maxie she has no say in the matter and she better get used to it. Nadine and Nikolas talk some more about Lulu's situation. Nadine and Nikolas believe Johnny wouldn't hurt Lulu. Nikolas mentions Michael and how bullets don't discriminate. Nikolas says Lulu believes love conquers all and nobody ever dies. Nadine touches Nikolas hand. They are interrupted by SAm. Lucky shows up at the hospital and tells Elizabeth what happened at the station. Lucky gives her Nikolas' assumptions and Elizabeth agrees. Lucky thinks Lulu might call Elizabeth because of Elizabeth/Jason relationship. Elizabeth checks her phone and finds three messages. Johnny plays the piano to prove that the professor was his teacher. It's very pretty. The guy puts his gun away. The guy recognizes the song Johnny played. Sonny tells the lawyer some of the things he can do for Karpov. She wants to know why he's a facilitator when he should be in charge. Diane shows up and introduces herself and is slighly familiar with the lawyer's name. She asks how Sonny/lawyer met. Claudia and Anthony discuss Johnny and Anthony starts yelling at Claudia which gets Sonny's attention. Jacque made my lovely avatar Banner by Amanda

Posts: 653 07/23/08 2:30 PM I'm going crazy... it's a short trip	Anthony is still yelling at Claudia and everyone is watching. Sonny interrupts and tells him to quiet down. Anthony tells Sonny he has no power or respect anymore. Sonny tells Anthony to shut up or Sonny will dump him in the floor. Sonny asks Claudia if she needs a ride home and she goes with him. Sam saw the news and came by. Nikolas tells Sam about Lulu's involvement. Sam wants to help Lucky but they staged the break-up and all. Sam got a lead on the drug issue, I think. The messages weren't from Lulu. Elizabeth tells Lucky that Lulu is smart. Lucky says Lulu is not acting like herself. Lucky says he's seen this before...his mother, right before she lost her mind. The man believes Johnny and Lulu. He says he'll keep it a secret...wonders if Johnny will gives piano lessons. Lulu says, of course. He gets Joe to give his niece? sister? daughter? Posts: 653 07/23/08 2:37 PM I'm going crazy... it's a short trip	Robin tells Dr. Matt that she didn't tell him the truth about Georgie's room. Maxie and Spinelli talk about Dr. Matt's insensitivity. Dr. Matt says he's here to stay. Robin apologizes for renting to Dr. Matt. Maxie tells Robin not to worry about her. She and Spinelli can take care of Dr. Matt. Nikolas has to admit that he went off on Anthony. Nadine tells Sam that she would have been a help to Lucky, but... Sam says she probably sounded like a needy woman and Nadine says she sounds like a woman in love. Sam smiles. Diane talks to the other lawyer. The lawyer lies and says she's in coffee and they are interested in working with Sonny. Claudia thanks Sonny for helping her. They discuss the things he said to Anthony. I think he mentions what his step-father did to his mother and he would have helped any woman who needed help, not just her. Posts: 653 07/23/08 2:44 PM I'm going crazy... it's a short trip	Diane's back to visit with Jason. She's here for his input on another matter and asks if Sonny would cheat on Kate. She explains about her encounter at the MetroCourt. Sonny's body language and attitude suggested she had caught him doing something wrong. Sam and Lucky reunite and he explains about Lulu's situation. He's starting to suspect that Lulu planned the whole thing. Lulu is frantic again and thinks it's only a matter of time before they get caught. He tries to convince her to stay put. They kiss. Dr. Matt sneaks into an exam room with a flashlight and opens a locked cabinet and takes drugs. Nadine walks in and finds him wanting to know what he's doing. Posts: 653 07/23/08 2:56 PM I'm going crazy... it's a short trip	Maxie is still upset about Dr. Matt's room rental. Spinelli promises to help Maxie. Spinelli says they can do anything together. She hugs him and says he is her best friend. Dr. Matt says he's just checking out the meds. Nadine's not acting like she believes him. Nikolas shows up. Nadine says they are talking about spot-checking the meds so no one else gets hurt. Sam explains why she didn't go to the station to help him. Sam says she think she's close to getting hired on one of the drug ships. Lucky isn't happy about that. She says the worst thing for her is being away from him. They talk...blah, blah, blah, and kiss. Diane has respect for Kate as a professional and a friend. Kate says Sonny is doing something behind Kate's back. She gives Jason the name of the lawyer and says she doesn't recognize it and she does all of Sonny's business work. Jason asks what Sonny said and she explains about Anthony and Claudia. Jason tells Diane to call Max and tell him about the altercation and to help Sonny. Diane wonders if Sonny would be as worried for Jason as Jason is for Sonny. Diane mentions that since Michael was shot a lot of Sonny's actions don't make sense. She leaves. Claudia and Sonny talk about Johnny/Lulu situation. blah, blah, blah. Sonny is more concerned for Lulu, not Johnny. Johnny and Lulu are tucked under afghans on the couch. (I think they are nekkid)blah, blah, blah. Jacque made my lovely avatar Banner by Amanda

Diane: As I mentioned earlier, you will not be getting out of here tonight. Jason: Okay, um, how bad is it? Diane: It's too early to tell. The police officer in question, Det. David Harper, maintains that he had a clean shot at Zacchara and that your actions enabled Zacchara to escape and take a hostage. Now, in legal parlens, that's called aiding and abetting. And if Johnny Zacchara kills anyone while at large the charge against you could be as an accessory. It also means that if he kills an officer of law enforcement the charge will be murder with special circumstances. Jason: (shocked)Against me. Diane: I find it so ironic that with your past alleged crimes you could be facing a lethal injection for stopping a cop from shooting a love struck twenty-something year old girl. (They just look at each other...not believing what's happening) Interrogation room Jason: Just tell me the best case scenario. Diane: I convince a judge that you were an innocent bystander who acted heroically and prevented an over-zealous cop from shooting an unarmed hostage. Jason: That's what happened. That's the truth. I mean, not the hero part, but-- Diane: I reserve the right to apply any hyperbole I deem necessary to get you out of this. Unfortunately, you have an extensive police record: tried on murder twice. You were convicted once. That was reversed. You were acquitted once, thanks to my brilliant-- Jason: Diane, I know all this! I know! Diane: Any competent D.A, and Alexis Davis is more than competent, is going to argue that you were in that squad room to help Johnny Zacchara escape, that you furnished him the gun with which he took Lulu hostage-- Jason: Lulu brought the gun in. Diane: Do you have any proof? Jason: No, I don't! She's the only one that could have brought it in. The cops aren't gonna search her. That's Lucky's sister. She's the one who killed Logan. She doesn't want Johnny to pay. She freaked out! Diane: Where do you think Lulu got the gun?! Jason: I don't know, Diane. Johnny, maybe? Edward Quartermaine? She's living in that house. He's got a gun collection. Diane: Good. Good. (She sits and starts writing)I can petition the court for a warrant to determine whether or not Edward Quartermaine is actually missing a gun. Now, let's just assume that he is. Now, I will argue that Lulu Spencer acted alone, (Jason shakes his head no)that she brought the gun into Johnny at which point the case against you for aiding and abetting completely falls apart. Jason: No. Don't go for the warrant. No. Diane: I am not suggesting we give up Lulu Spencer as the individual who killed Logan Hayes. I am simply saying the courts will be far more lenient on a hysterical girl. Jason: Okay, hold on. You just told me that helping Johnny escape makes Lulu an accessory, right? So, if Johnny kills a cop she could get murder with special circumstances. Is that right? Diane: That is an extreme interpretation. Jason: Diane...yes or no. Diane: It's possible, yes. Jason: Okay. Don't tell the cops anything. Lulu's a hostage. That's it, end of story. (He walks to the little window) Diane: (She starts to gather her stuff)It's a good thing that you pay me so much money because you make it extremely difficult to mount a competent defense. Jason: I owe it to Carly and Spinelli to cover for Lulu, okay? Just find another way. Please! Diane: That may not be as easy as it sounds. (Jason is confused as Diane leaves) Nurses station Lucky rushes off the elevator to Elizabeth at the desk. Lucky: Elizabeth, has Lulu made contact with you? Elizabeth: No, why? What's the matter? Lucky: She came down to the station to see Johnny. Before I knew it he had a gun to her head and was using her to escape. (Elizabeth is completely shocked...love her hair by the way) Elizabeth: My G**, he took her hostage? Lucky: Johnny is a murder suspect and the force is going to be going after him guns a blazing. The only thing I can think about is her safety. Elizabeth: I can't believe he took her hostage. She was so sure of him. Lucky: Nikolas thnks that Lulu was in on the escape. That she and Johnny were working together. Elizabeth: Ahh, yeah, I can believe it. She would do anything to help him. Lucky: Okay, if that is true she may make contact, but I doubt that she'd be willing to risk calling her brother the cop. Elizabeth: So you think she's going to call me? Lucky: She trusts you. She may think because of what happened with you and Jason that you'd be more willing to understand her situation and able to help her. (Elizabeth sighs) Elizabeth: Well, I (pulls her phone out)just got out of surgery. Let's see if she's tried to call. (She comes around the desk)I have 3 messages. Lucky: Please let that be Lulu. Near nurses desk Lucky: Was it Lulu? Elizabeth: No, sorry. Lucky: It was a long shot. Elizabeth: Your sister is smart. She knows what it means to be on the run. One of the advantages of being Luke Spencer's daughter, right? Lucky: Yeah, well, if I thought she was thinking like my father, but she's not. Elizabeth: Why do you say that? Lucky: Because I was at the station when she showed up to see Johnny. I saw her. I talked to her. Right before all this happened and I could tell that something was very wrong and I just...I should have done something about it. Elizabeth: You couldn't have known the two of them were going to break out. Lucky: She was tense. She was fidgeting. It's almost when she started talking to me that she was lost in her own head. She didn't talk TO me. It's almost like I've seen this...I've seen this before. (It's like he deflated...defeated)It just reminded me of... Elizabeth: Of what? Lucky: My mom...right before she lost her mind. Interrogation room Jason is brought in. The officer takes off the cuffs and Diane is waiting. Diane: Thank you officer. Jason: Why'd you come back? Have they found Lulu and Johnny? Diane: Not that I know of...which is a good thing especially if Johnny is out there committing armed mayhem somewhere. Jason: Okay...so I'm still not getting out of here tonight? Is that what you're telling me? Diane: Despite your lack of cooperation I am using my best efforts to get the charges against you...dropped. But, I do need your input on another matter. Do you think Sonny would ever cheat on Kate? Jason: What? Diane: After our last extremely frustrating legal consultation, I felt the need for a very strong, very dry martini...or three. So, I called up Max and I asked him to meet me at the MetroCourt. Unfortunately, since Max has returned to Sonny's employ he doesn't have time to socialize. Yet, another glaring example of Sonny's extreme selfishness. You know, I would think that Sonny would be so HAPPY that Max has come back to work for him that he would encourage a personal life, but I digress. Jason: What are you talking about? Diane: I am unsettled, not on my behalf, but on behalf of Kate Howard. See, I always thought that when Sonny cheated on her it would be with Carly. Jason: Okay, you still haven't told me what Sonny did. (getting frustrated) Diane: Sonny was at the Metro restaurant having drinks with a very attractive blonde and when I walked over to say hi, his attitude and body language told me I had just caught him in the middle of doing something illicit. Interrogation room Diane: I have nothing but admiration for Kate Howard, professionally because I care so deeply about fashion and she is both a leader and an icon, not that you would understand. Jason: Probably not. Diane: But I also happen to care about her as a friend and she has given up so much for Sonny. She would never have left Manhattan or Couture if it weren't for him. Now she is putting her reputation on the line to launch Crimson from the hinterlands. And she is putting her heart on the line by agreeing to marry Sonny and he is doing something behind her back. Jason: He had drinks with a woman. Diane: Sasha Donev. You ever heard the name? Jason: No. Diane: Neither have I. And I have drafted every deal memo and contract for that coffee business ever since Sonny put me on retainer so there is no WAY that she was representing a coffee consortium. Jason: Is that why Sonny said he was meeting her? Diane: Sonny actually didn't say much. Anthony Zacchara was sitting at a table in the restaurant and screaming at his daughter and Sonny went to rescue her. (Jason looks dumbfounded) Jason: Tell me...tell me about that. What happened? Diane: Well, I assume that Anthony was venting his worry over Johnny and he said something to the effect of how he should have drowned Claudia the day that her brother was born so Sonny got up, went over, intervened, and escorted Claudia from the restaurant. Jason: I want you to call Max right away. I want you to tell him that Sonny had an altercation and a confrontation with Anthony Zacchara. I want him to up the guards and I want to double check the security. Anthony might not be as calm as you'd like to think. Diane: Here you are in lock-up and you're worried about Sonny. And I just have to wonder if the positions were reversed would Sonny do the same for you? Jason: Diane, please just take care of it for me, please. Diane: I am calling Max now. (She heads for the door and stops)You never answered my question. Do you think Sonny is sleeping with Sasha? Jason: (He shrugs)Sonny's going to marry Kate. Diane: Ever since Michael was shot, a lot of Sonny's actions don't make sense. And I'm sure you've noticed the same thing. (Diane leaves) Jacque made my lovely avatar Banner by Amanda
