I think that Guza purposely leaves a lot of plot holes and WTF moments in his storylines so that he can backtrack if he chooses to. (picture of Liz's house on Franco's wall, Someone {possibly Sam} marking the map in Franco's loft, Sam's mysterious escape from the guy Jerry sold her to, etc.). This leads all of us to be hopeful and come up with possible scenarios for the storyline to resolve the way we want it to. Problem is, he never seems to plug up the holes. This drives me crazy. Is it clever writing to string us all along? I don't know. I just remain hopeful that things do change at Prospect, the pet is put out to pasture and all questions and plot holes are resolved in a clever way to bring us back to Liason.
