SOW: Jason Defends Michael - To The Death!

CD says that Jason doesn't know it but Michael shows up and sees him kill Carter. "It's definitely a shock to see a guy you idolize go murder somebody." (On GH? That's like the rest of us watching our parents butter our toast.)

What sets it in motion is that Carter keeps menacing Michael. CD says that whenever Carter comes near Michael's cell, he's on edge. "Jason sees that Michael was traumatized and doesn't want to talk, so he's not going to push it. Michael is kind of shell-shocked from what happened. Jason can read between the lines; he knows Michael, and so he can sense something is off."

It gets to be too much for Michael to take and comes to a point where Michael *has* to talk Jason about it. "He hints it might have been more than just a beating, but it's up in the air if you want to believe that is [all that] really happened or not. No one really knows except for Carter and Michael himself." (ABC/GH/Guza/Frons should all be completely and utterly ashamed of themselves.)

And Michael doesn't have any intention of talking about it, especially to Sonny, who comes for a visit. Michael tells him it was a guard that did it because if he told Sonny the truth, Sonny would be all over it and make things worse. He doesn't want Sonny to think he's weak and can't handle himself.

Michael uses Jason to try and ward Carter off by telling him that the attacks won't happen again, now that Jason is there but Carter warns him that Jason won't always be there and that scares Michael.

Jason decides he has no choice but to kill Carter, something Michael wants no part of. "He wants the whole thing to just disappear. If Jason keeps going after Carter, he's going to find out what happened and that's the last thing Michael wants." When Jason tells him he's going to kill Carter, Michael insists he doesn't because of the warden's warning about taking him out of Michael's cell and putting him in solitary if Jason starts any fights, thereby giving Michael a new cellmate. That alarms Michael because of what happened the last time someone was in his cell.

But there's no talking Jason out of it and he does what he does best but it doesn't solve much. "Carter's gone, but there are a lot of problems that come along with that."

Especially for Jason when Carter's leaves him with a chilling message with his dying breaths...
