Elizabeth: Oh, wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait.

Elizabeth: You know what? I'm -- I'm sorry. I -- this is unfair.

Elizabeth: I should never have asked you to come back here.

Jason: Ok.

Elizabeth: "Ok"? That's it? Just "ok"?

Jason: What do you want me to tell you?

Elizabeth: I have no idea. Oh, god. Oh, what is wrong with me?

Jason: Elizabeth, nothing. Nothing's wrong.

Elizabeth: Oh, so it's ok for me to drag you away from Kelly's and throw myself at you and then change my mind?

Jason: Yeah.

Elizabeth: Oh. How could you say that?

Jason: Well, because this isn't about me.

Elizabeth: And that's why it's so unfair.

Jason: What's unfair? No one's lying. We both know what's really going on.

Elizabeth: Yeah. I was just about to have sex with you because I'm furious with Lucky. Jason -- Jason, I would be too embarrassed to even look at you afterwards.

Jason: Why?

Elizabeth: Because. Because I would want it to be more.

Elizabeth: Jason, I care about you. And if we had sex or make love or whatever you want to call it, I would want it to mean something. I'm not going to have sex with you just to get back at Lucky. I'm not going to ruin what you and I have because I'm angry with him.

Jason: I understand.

Elizabeth: You do, don't you? This is so unfair.

Jason: Look, if having sex now would make you too embarrassed to ever speak to me again, then it's good we didn't.

Elizabeth: Thank you.

Jason: You can always change your mind... again.

Jason: Are you staying?

Elizabeth: Yeah. I may paint all night.

Jason: Are you ok with everything?

Elizabeth: Do you remember that Christmas we spent here and that tree we decorated with paper chains? That was one of my favorite times, ever. I didn't have to pretend to be happy. I just was.

Jason: I can stay if you need me.

Elizabeth: No, I -- no. You know what? Painting by myself is -- I think it'll help clear my head, you know?

Jason: Do you still have that picture of the wind?

Elizabeth: Yes, but it isn't right.

Jason: Yeah, but it's mine.

Elizabeth: If you want it.

Elizabeth: Jason, do you ever think about what might have happened if I had ridden away with you that day?

Jason: No.

Elizabeth: Why not?

Jason: Because you didn't.

Elizabeth: I'm really glad you're back.

Jason: Yeah, me, too. Goodnight.
