After those ratings I don't know if I want to laugh or cry! A part of me wants to laugh at the failed vision of whoever thought women (who make up the majority of soap viewers) want to watch trauma and trashy sex and nothing else (fun, romance, love, intelligence). The part that wants to cry is the one who loves Liason and used to love that GH was one of the most unique shows with the strongest cast.

I do find it interesting that the mob is being downplayed in spoilers, no mention of a war between Sonny/Johnny, most of them having everyone wanting them to stand down. The problem of course being they are still trying the wrong things. Yes, we need less mob BUT what we need more is characters returned to their proper personalities, less Corinthos clan, more well written stories in the hospital, Metro Court, Q manor, Crimson, the coffee business and even Jake's. Having the mix of Luke, Patrick and Coleman this week, allowed some of the characters out of their usual boxes. The most important though is bringing back LOVE in the afternoon (not cheap sex) and the couples that actually inspire this. It still seems that BF is determined not to do the one thing that would bring viewers back, and we all know what that is.

I also agree more older characters are starting to emerge on canvas, (about time) but there again I agree with others, what about Monica, she should be out of mourning and ready to date, why isn't she showing up spending time with Maya, they share the hospital in common and isn't Maya living in the house, pondering retirement or contemplating the return to the Nurses Ball?? What about Mike, Bobbie or Lucy showing up? Why can't they use familiar faces sometimes instead of always bringing in someone new?
They have to use newbies, they burnt the bridges behind them with the older crew. I am sure that Lynn Herring really, really wants to work with the actress who helped drive PC into the ground and JZ(I don't think she works more than once a year)

It's more proof that what is needed is a total overhaul at the Disney run ABC daytime. If they want to sell it, just like with property, you need to fix it up some. Pulling in 1.6, they aren't going to get a return on their investment let alone make any profit.

I can't help feeling like the host of Sell this house on TLC should come on, walk through the cast and or even bang for you buck. I can just see it.

"Well, you paid this for her... sorry, she wasn't worth the money. It would have been better to have spent it on such and such...

You remodeled this set, but I thought that character was a mob boss, is this where he store the hookers, or the brothel set?

"Wait, these are your leading men? But I thought that they had to be rootable characters? I am sorry but you didn't make the biggest bang for your buck, more like you lost money. See, buyers want romance, not sleezy sex. They want hospital stories on a show called GH, not mob 24/7. I wasn't aware that this was a Soprano's rip off. And finally, well your fixtures(cast) some of them look a little worn in places. Now, this is an older house, so go with the classics. Clean lines and simple drapery works everytime."
