CHAPTER 6

A/N-Thanks so much for all the comments.  Read and Enjoy.  Thanks, Robyn

Jason and Elizabeth picked the boys up from daycare and headed back to her cottage. They decided they would let the boys play and go to sleep before they talked about what was going to happen. After a full evening of playing motorcycles and blocks with the boys, Jason was in heaven. He loved the feeling of being home. Home with his family. After tucking the boys in bed with Elizabeth, they headed back downstairs to talk.

"So where do we start? What do we need to do about security? I know you want to get married, but when? I don't want to wait, unless you do of course. What kind of wedding do you want? I don't really care as long as at the end of the day I am Mrs. Morgan. I can't believe that we are finally going to do this. I have thought about this day for so long. I.." Jason cut Elizabeth's rambling with a kiss. When they came back up for air they were both smiling.

"you know I love it when you ramble."

"And I love how you shut me up. So where do we start?" Elizabeth was curled up on Jason's lap.

"Well, I have guards starting tonight for you and the boys. It will Johnny and Francis. You know them and are comfortable with them. You do know that you will no longer have any privacy, right?"

"Oh, I can handle Johnny and Frannie, it will be like having an extra set of hands with the boys. I can give up my privacy if they can handle listening to my off key singing." Elizabeth said with a saucy grin upon her face. Jason laughed.

"Okay, so we will secure this cottage, with new security system, bullet proof glass, motion sensors, and what ever else Spinelli can think of. I do want to get married as soon as possible. But you are the one that has to plan the wedding, so what do you want?" Jason asked.

"How about a simple, intimate wedding? Just us, the boys, Monica, Grams if she will come, and anyone else you want there. I have friends but I am not close to anyone besides robin and she is going through enough right now with the new baby and all. The only other person I would want to be here is Em, and I truly believe she will be."

"That sounds good."

"I hear a but in there?"

"What about Carly?"

"Jason, I never want to come between your friendship with Carly. She just needs to know that I am here with you and am not going anywhere. She is your best friend of course she can come."

"No, she isn't my best friend, you are. And you being so accepting of our friendship is just another reason that I love you." Jason pulled her head towards his, licking his lips all the while. Elizabeth got hot and bothered just watching his tongue flick in and out of his mouth. "Jason, I think that maybe.. you are going think that I am silly.. but I think I would like to wait til our wedding night." Elizabeth gently kissed him on the lips.

"Okay, since this is going to be our final relationship, the end game as Spinelli would call it. I can deal with it. It is going to be me and you for the rest of our life, I can wait."

"Okay, so we need to tell Grams, which is going to hit the roof, and we have to tell Monica. The whole truth. I have been dying to tell her about Jake. She seems to be so lonely."

"Um, I already did. When I went to she her in the rehab center, she was upset. Thinking of all the family that she had lost. We were clearing the air forgiving each other for everything and I told her. I couldn't help but tell her. You should have seen her eyes light up. She wasn't too happy that Lucky was claiming her grandchild but she than she said she understood our reason. Are you mad?" Jason asked with his head dropped down just a little bit. Just like Cam when he gets into trouble.

"No, I'm not mad. I am really glad that you told her." Elizabeth snuggled down closer into his arms.

"I better go, we both know if I stay what will happen." Jason said with a half grin.

"Okay, but we didn't set a date, when?" Elizabeth said just holding onto his arms just a little bit longer.

"Oh, well you said as soon as possible so how about New Year Day. We missed Christmas together but..let's not spend anymore holidays apart. That gives you a week to get what ever you need. I want to ask you something… I would like to adopt Cameron. I know he thinks of Lucky as his dad and still can but I love that boy as much as I love Jake. I can have Diane draw the papers up as she get the marriage license." Jason said looking up into Elizabeth's eyes, hoping she would give him the family he dreamed of.

"Oh, Jason, this mean so much to me. I always wanted Lucky to adopt Cam but he..he never offered. I know he loves him in his own way but he never loved him enough to make him his own. Yes, have Diane draw the papers up and we will sign them the day we get married. We will explain it to Cam in a couple of days. Let him get use to you being around." Jason looked at Elizabeth while she spoke, she had one of the smiles that made him glad he was alive.

"Good, Johnny and Francis is at the door, let them know if you need anything. And I will see you tomorrow." Jason held her hand and he walked to the door. She reached up and pulled him down into a kiss.

"I love so much, always, Jason and thank you for loving my boys so much."

"I love you, and you don't need to thank me for loving Our boys."

TWO DAYS LATER

Elizabeth was settling into a routine with the guards and work. Since Monica was the chief of staff now there wasn't a problem. She was thinking about everything that happened yesterday. They had went to Monica and told her they were getting married and that they wanted her at the wedding. It was going to be at the penthouse, they would have loved to do it in Lila's garden but since it was winter it just wasn't possible. The next stop was Grams. She wasn't as welcoming as Monica but she understood in the end that Elizabeth and the boys would be loved, that they were happy and they would protected. They left the hardest person till last, Carly.

Jason had called her and told her they need to talk and if she could come to the penthouse. Elizabeth could still she the shock on Carly's face when she walked into the room.

Carly entered the penthouse and threw down her purse and coat. "Jase what is wrong?"

"Why don't we just sit down and then we will talk." Jason walked toward the coach.

"Jason, I brought you a beer. I know you aren't too fond of my hot chocolate." Elizabeth laughed, than she saw Carly sitting in the armchair. "Oh, hello, Carly." She went on to sit down by Jason on the coach.

"Jase, what is Elizabeth doing here? I thought you guys were over.. I mean after Jake was taken.. I thought..Gawd, I'm confused."

"Carly, we have been talking and we realize that we are safer together than we are apart. We are getting married on New Years day and would like for you to be there." Jason turned his head to Elizabeth and smiled.

"Oh, okay, but are you sure? I mean this seems sudden. Don't you think that you should think it over?"

"Carly, I asked Elizabeth to marry me the day that Michael got shot. Then we got the phone call that it had happened. I ended the relationship because I was taking over the business. I thought I didn't have a choice. I thought they would be safer without me in their life. I was wrong."

"Jase, why didn't you tell me? I'm your best friend, you use to tell me everything."

"Carly don't get all worked up." Jason told Carly seeing that she was hurt because he hadn't told her.

"Jase, I'm not mad. Hurt you didn't think that you could tell me, but not mad. Jase, I have grown a lot since Michael was shot. I saw how much pain you were in after Jake was taken. I realize now that you have always put my family first and ignored what you wanted. Elizabeth and her boys are your family. I see that now. I…I..I'm happy for you." With tears in her eyes, Carly stood up and hugged Jason. "I love you, Jase."

"I love you too Carly and thanks."

"Can I have a minute alone with Elizabeth? I promise I'm not going to start a fight." Carly chuckled.

"It's okay Jason, I can handle myself." Jason turned to Elizabeth and kissed her on the forehead. "I know baby." And with that Jason left the room.

"Listen, Carly.. I"

"No, just let me say this. I am not your biggest fan, you know that. But I have seen how you had handled everything in the last 2 years and I admire you for raising your two boys by yourself. God knows, you don't that much help from my useless cousin. Jason love you and your boys. Don't hurt him or believe me you will be sorry."

"Carly, I love Jason, and God knows I have made mistakes when it comes to him, but I never intend on hurting him. He wants to be a family with me and our boys and there is nothing else I want more."

"Good, well I just wanted you to know where you stood with me." Carly said as she head to the desk to get her jacket and purse.

"One more thing Carly, I won't come between you and Jason's friendship. I know that you have been friends for a long time, but just want you to know that I won't stand for you trying to cause trouble between us, okay?"

"Okay, muffin." Carly stood looking at a girl that she had despised for so long. Maybe she was worthy of Jason after all, maybe. She had guts, she had to give her that.

"Carly.. I heard that" Jason had just came back down the stairs.

"Jase, it's her nickname, she'll just have to get use to it." Carly laughed. "If you need anything let the boutique know, it's on me." Carly reached out and patted Elizabeth's arm.

"Uh, thanks Carly."

"Bye you two, I will see you at the wedding." And with that Carly left.

Elizabeth shook her head remembering that conversation. She still had a hard time believing that Carly wasn't going to put up a fuss. She headed with Francis to pickup the boys from daycare. Everything seemed to be falling into place. And it was about time.

"Well, my dear everything things seems to going just like we planned. I know we aren't suppose to get involved as much we have, but it was their time."

"oh, Grandmother. I think the powers that be will forgive us. It isn't like they were going to stop where them two was headed."

"I think that you are probably right, but we still need to make sure that no one else gets in the way.

ANGELS AMONG US

CHAPTER 7

RATED PG

Elizabeth, Francis, Johnny and the boys headed to the car in the hospital car garage. Jason told he she didn't have to continue to work, but the truth was she liked it. She loved the chance of putting a smile on a patient's face. She was thinking about the list of things she wanted to do before New Year's day, her wedding day. She noticed Johnny and Francis tense up.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" Sonny approached the group. "I didn't realize that Francis and Johnny were back in town. To think they didn't even come to visit their old employer. I guess Jason called you back to town to protect his family?"

Johnny and Francis both took a step forward in front of Elizabeth and the boys.

"It's okay guys, I can handle Sonny. Just go ahead and put the boys in the car please." Johnny took little Jake from his mother's arms, never taking his eyes off of Sonny.

Once the boys were in the car, Elizabeth took a step toward Sonny. "what do you want Sonny?"

"Hey, I was just trying to be polite to my former employees. So I take it that you and Jason are finally going to take the risk and be together? I figured after Jake was taken by the Russians, you would know that it was too dangerous to be together."

"Sonny, not that it is any of your business but yes Jason and I are together. We are a family. It is safer for us to be with a man that loves us and protect us than without. Now, if you will excuse me, I need to get home to my family." Elizabeth stared at the man in front of her. He use to be a friend, now she didn't even recognize him. It was sad what power had done to him.

"Do you not remember Michael? I loved him and protected him and he will never wake up." Sonny's voice was starting to get louder as he steps closer to Elizabeth.

"Protected him? Sonny you took him to a warehouse with no guards just to impress Kate. That isn't protecting that is just stupid. I'm sorry for what happened to Michael, but Jason will never leave me and our boys unprotected."

"Are you so sure that your boys are safe?" Sonny was staring Elizabeth down. He wanted to put the fear of God in her.

"Sonny, surely you aren't foolish enough to threaten our boys? Jason isn't the only one that will kill to protect them so will I." Elizabeth took her pink lady 38 special out of her purse and pointed it at Sonny. "Let me make this clear to you, NEVER THREATEN OUR BOYS AGAIN. Because if you do Jason will not be the one the to kill you, I will do it personally." And with that Elizabeth put her gun back into her purse and walked back to the car. Johnny and Francis stood by the door smiling at her. She was clearly the woman for their boss.

Sonny stood shocked that Elizabeth Webber had threatened him. Did she not remember who she was talking to? He wasn't foolish enough to do something here with Johnny and Francis by her side, but she would pay.

Later when Jason and Elizabeth were cuddling on the coach after putting the boys to bed, Elizabeth decided she needed to tell Jason about Sonny.

"I had bit of a run in with Sonny today."

"What? Did he threaten you or the boys? Where were Johnny and Francis?" Elizabeth could feel the rage radiating off Jason.

"Relax Jason, I handled it. He approached us on the way to the car after I got off work. He wanted to let me know that he knew we were together and to remind me how unsafe it was. I let him know that we were safe with you and that if threatened our boys you wouldn't be the one killing him, it would be me." Jason sat staring at the woman he loved with all of his being. She still continued to amaze him. She managed to be totally relaxed about threatening one of the largest Dons on the east coast.

"I'll take care of Sonny. Not what you are thinking. An agent Rayner approached me after Jake was taken and offered me immunity if I would turn on Sonny. I am suppose to get back to him with my decision. I wasn't going to out of respect for Michael, Morgan and the man that he use to be, but I was wrong. Sonny is done." Elizabeth was proud of Jason. She knew how hard this would be for him turning his back on his friend and brother but he was putting their family first. She didn't think she could love him more but in that moment she knew she did.

"Oh, that dear boy makes me so proud. He is finally getting Sonny Corinthos out of his life. He is putting his family first."

"I know Grandmother. And Elizabeth was awesome. She has finally found the perfect mix between Elizabeth, the mother and Elizabeth the kick ass girl I grew up with. I think we can relax now. Sonny was the last obstacle I was worried about. Now it is time for us to relax and enjoy the wedding that's coming up."

"I agree dear. I think that they finally are in the right place. But we will always be here to watch over them."

The day of the wedding was finally here. They had chosen to be married at Elizabeth's cottage. It was simply decorated, nothing elaborated because she knew that wasn't the type of person Jason was and really she didn't need it either. She had had the elaborated wedding with Lucky and look how well that turned out. No, all she need was Jason and her, their boys standing beside of her.

Jason was downstairs with Spinelli and Father Coates and their two precious sons, who were dieing to get out of their suits. They matched their daddy. They wore a simple navy blue suits with a light blue dress shirts, it set off their daddy's eyes and no tie. Elizabeth didn't want to watch all three of her men pulling at their ties, when she knew they would be taken off as soon as the wedding was over.

Upstairs Elizabeth had just finished getting dressed, when Monica, Grams, and Carly entered the room. "So how is my soon to be daughter doing?" Monica when to Elizabeth and gave her a hug. "You look beautiful." She took a step back to admire the beautiful women her son was marrying. Elizabeth was dressed in a soft, silver, shimmering, off the shoulder, tea length gown. Her makeup was perfect and her chocolate colored hair was laying in curls around her shoulders.

Grams stepped up, "This was the necklace I wore the day the day I married your grandfather. It will cover the old." She said as she fastened the simple diamond necklace on her granddaughter's neck.

"Thank you, Grams. I love you."

"I love you too dear."

Carly stepped up "These will cover the something borrowed." AS she handed her the two carat diamond stud earrings. Carly then hugged Elizabeth, "Remember our deal Muffin. Just love him with all your heart as much as he loves you."

"I will, I promise, Carly babes." Elizabeth and Carly both chuckled.

Monica stepped forward once again. "I will cover the new, blue and old once again." She opened up a case and inside was a pair of diamond encrusted combs. "These were Lila's. She loved Jason so very much, she accepted him has he was just like Emily and just like you. She would want you to wear these today."

"Oh, they are beautiful. Will you help me put them in my hair? Thank you so much." Elizabeth's eyes were glistening with tears.

"In just a moment, Jason also sent this to you." Monica handed her a bracelet box. Inside there was a diamond and Ceylon sapphire bracelet. "Wow, I guess this covers the new and blue."

Monica helped Elizabeth with her hair, and then with the beautiful bracelet.

With one last look in the mirror, Elizabeth announced she was ready to go. The other women headed downstairs to take a seat.

There was a simple song "Ours To Keep" playing in the back ground as she descended the stairway. She saw Jason standing beside the fireplace smiling at her. On each side of him was one of he boys. This is the day she had dreamed of. She was finally going to be Mrs. Jason Morgan.

Jason couldn't believe that Elizabeth could be anymore beautiful than she was in the moment she started walking towards him with her simple bouquet of lilies. His heart swelled with pride. She was going to his wife, the mother of his children, his life long friend. He was so blessed.

After they said their vows and were presented as Mr. and Mrs. Jason Morgan to the small group, they went to the dining room for some refreshments. Jason noticed that Elizabeth had wiped a tear away. He reached for her hand and pulled her into a hug.

"What is wrong my beautiful wife?"

"Oh, Jason, it is nothing I was just thinking about how much it would have meant to have Emily here. She believed in us even we didn't." She snuggled into his warm arms.

"I like to believe she is here and Grandmother too. I think that love trend sends the barriers of death. And as much as Grandmother and Emily loved the both of us, there is no doubt that they are among us."

"I think you are right Jason. I think we have angels among us."

And right then they both smelled roses and peppermint, they just smiled at each other and joined the party to celebrate their life long commitment.

THE END
