Sorry took a bit folks, should note, I don't turn the computer on over the weekend. Family time and all that jive. Enjoy.

Docks

“Elizabeth? Where….How? We all thought you were dead?” Carly uttered in confusion as she peered between Jason and  Elizabeth.

“I think I need to sit down.  Elizabeth?” She said to herself, trying to wrap her head around it. “What is my last name?” She asked.

“What do you mean what is your last name? Its Webber, or Spencer? I don’t really know if you changed it back after the divorce.” Carly answered. “You mean you don’t remember your own name?”

“Its Webber” Jason interrupted, finally able to find his voice and causing Elizabeth to remember the man that ran behind her.

“Divorced? I was married?” She continued on to Carly.

“Yeah, to my cousin, Lucky Spencer.” Carly responded. “But you had some problems, and it didn’t work out.”

“Where is he now?” Elizabeth asked.

“Gone.” She responded. “Don’t know where, don’t care after the way he left I hope he never comes back.”

Elizabeth sat on the bench shocked, taking it all in. None of these people seemed familiar to her, nothing they were telling her sparked any recognition.

“Jane? Jane, are you alright?” EJ asked as he sat by her side and stroked the side of her face forcing her to look at him.

“I don’t?” She began perplexed. “I, Yes, I’m just trying to wrap my head around all of this.” She answered honestly.

“Is there anything I can do for you?” EJ asked hopelessly.

“I just need a minute.” She responded.

Kellys

“I can’t believe you didn’t tell him Robin!” Patrick said for the hundredth time since finding out how Robin’s conversation with Jane had gone.

“I figured you would break the news to her and she could decide what she wanted to do!” Robin defended herself yet again. “Jason seems happy, and I know the boys are happy and finally moving on, and I didn’t want, I didn’t want to be the one to ruin it for them, Okay? I admit it was cowardly, but Jason was telling me about how he and Sam were eloping and how they were doing it because of the boys. He took Elizabeth’s death so hard, he wouldn’t talk to anyone, but I could tell he was hurting over it. Then he started spending time with Sam again, and she seemed to be able to get through to him. And then Lucky left and Jason told everyone Jake was his son and the next thing anyone knew Audrey let him take the boys to live with him, and when Audrey passed away, it was Jason and Sam who were there when those little boys had to say goodbye and try and understand. I mean none of us knew Jason and Elizabeth had a child together. I knew they dated quietly for a little while, but Elizabeth always made it out to be just some meaningless fling. She said they were two friends who tried to see if it could be more, but said it couldn’t be. That’s why I invited Jason to come to have some drinks at Jakes tonight. I figured we might be able to see what their relationship was really like. Why didn’t you tell “Jane” who she really was Patrick?”

“I guess because she also seemed to have moved on.” Patrick admitted.

“I thought you were opposed to her stripping.”

“She is going to school, her boss really seems to care about her, and she seems comfortable in her skin. Something I can’t remember seeing Liz being for a long time.” Patrick exasperated. “But no matter our reasons I don’t think they are going to matter much longer.”

“Why is that?” Robin asked as they began the decent to the docks.

“That’s why” Patrick nodded to where a quick glance revealed Elizabeth sitting on a bench with EJ stroking her cheeks, Micheal and Carly standing in front of her with a girl about Michaels’ age, and still standing on the stairs above them, a disbelieving Jason.

“Okay so my name is Elizabeth Webber, I’m a nurse, I was married but now I’m divorced. Is there anything else?” She asked.

“Can we have a minute?” Jason spoke up, surprising Elizabeth as she forgot all about the man behind her.

“I don’t see how any of this is your business Mr. Morgan.” EJ replied.

“Please?” He graveled out looking into Elizabeth’s eyes. She looked around and saw the concern on Carly and Michael’s faces, except it wasn’t directed at her, but the man who stood behind her.

“Do I know you?” She asked the man. He looked around at the group and peered over to the other side of the dock where Dr. Drake and his wife were standing.

“We are, we were friends.” The man cryptically responded but Elizabeth had not heard him, her attention immediately zeroed in on the doctor.

“You knew who I was but you didn’t tell me?” She asked. “What else did you lie to me about.” She yelled unable to rein in her emotions. “You’re my doctor! I’m supposed to trust you! Do you know what it is like to be me?” She screamed. “Do you know what it is like to wake up one day and have no idea who you are? To look around you and not recognize anything? To have no way of deciphering if someone is your friend, or your enemy! Do you know what it is like to go from doctor to doctor, hoping, praying someone can help you so you can find out where you came from, or what your name is? I mean just a name! Do you know how hard it is to find a job without a name? Do you!” She shouted. “There is only one or two things you can do for a living without a name Dr. Drake.” She seethed. “I get on a stage every night, and I take off my clothes so men can look at me! And I was getting ready to go back to the city in hopes that I could make it in time to do that again so I could afford to pay my rent and eat next month because every penny I made doing that since I woke up I had to spend to see if you could help me. And what did you do? You lied to me!”

“Jane!” EJ called as he slowly approached her. “Jane don’t, he isn’t worth it Jane.”

“No EJ! What did I do to you? What did I ever do to deserve this?” She continued. “Were you just going to go on like you never saw me? Just let me go back to New York and let me paint myself up and strip for the next man that waved a dollar in my face? Were you?!”

“No Elizabeth, you have to understand” Patrick began to explain.

“Oh I understand alright. Elizabeth died, and for some reason it was easier for you if she never came back so you just kept on pretending that you had no idea who I was. So what did Elizabeth do to you? Or perhaps you wanted to come watch? Was that it? You tell me you can’t help me knowing I’d go back home and back to work, and next weekend you tell the little lady here that you have business in the city then come get your kicks? Well tell you what, I’ll save you a trip.” She screamed as she began to take her sweater off. “Is this what you wanted to see?” She accused.

“Elizabeth stop!” Patrick begged.

“To see the little nurse you used to work with get down and dirty. What did you want a lap dance?” She accused as she began decending upon the doctor. “To have me rub myself all over..”

“Elizabeth Stop” The handsome man who had been watching the entire painful scene whispered as he wrapped his arms around her from behind. “Just stop.”

“Let go of me” she screamed, still overly emotional.

“Let me help you, please!” He continued to whisper lightly into her neck causing Elizabeth to close her eyes

Flashback:

“ My life is better then okay…you don’t believe me.”

“You don’t believe you. When you smile, I can tell your faking. You keep saying over and over how happy you are then you don’t laugh.”

“You need to get away from her!” EJ yelled as he pushed the man from behind her beginning the fist fight. But Elizabeth just stood stark still and whispered “Jason?” surprising everyone including the handsome man who took a hard left the moment he was distracted.
