I'm sorry, who the eff was that with Sam at the restaurant today? since when in the hell has Jason Morgan been friendly, willing to speak openly to strangers without any suspicion, and then sit down and have a meal where he's laughing and cutting up with said stranger? and why the hell is some random chinese restaurant owner an ordained minister? he's more likely buddhists, and while he could be ordained to legally marry someone, he probably wouldn't' be a minister. WTH was this show I watched today?

Did Jason Quartermaine start showing up today? Cause that sure as hell isn't Jason Morgan. Oh, and he was all kinds of PDA happy with her too in front of all these people. WTF?

Am I the only one that found Jason to seriously be POD Jason because of those things (I know most of you think he's POD because he's with Sam, that's not being debated).
I can't even picture this.  lol  Definitely doesn't sound like Jason.  But, maybe it was the writer's idea of "cutesy" for the lame day.  They've been doing that leading up to now with them....lots of supposedly "funny" moments (like the stupid ring crap) and trying to make them all cutesy which, IMO does NOT work for them.

Yeah, it's not Jason.  Jason is far to stoic and brooding for that to be the case with strangers.  He can be "cutesy" with her, and that's fine.  But that just doesn't seem like Jason.  Not the Jason I know.  This is a different Jason.  Different from the Jason that was with Robin, with Elizabeth at the beginning of Liason, and even the Jason that was with Courtney.  I'm sure some Jalamer fan would claim "Sam makes him better," but following brain surgery?  I'm more willing to think he's not really like himself now.

IDK.  This wedding and some of the stuff they're doing shows me a couple things.  1.  They might go back to Liason at some point, but they'll never get this story, this wedding.  This is something I would have imagined for Liason, minus the lame-o Chinese restaurant.  Liason would be so in love, and would have felt pushed into a big wedding when neither would want it.  Jason would take Elizabeth away on the bike for a ride, like they used to do, and they'd elope to Italy.  That's what I've always thought they'd do, at very least marry in Italy, but that it would be a small ceremony, just like they got at the restaurant.  2.  Quartermaine legacy rings?  They clearly don't see Elizabeth in Jason's life the way she was originally written, and for that I blame Frons.  The show's view of Elizabeth in Jason's life changed when he came on board in 2002.  She was suddenly not the same girl Jason's loved in 1999, 2000, 2001, and the first part of 2002.  She's not his "ride or die chick," who was expected to accept his life, rather than being the girl who accepted his life (because she always did) but she made him want to be better.  That means I need to accept it, and likely just move on.  It doesn't mean I won't still root for Liason, want Liason, and watch if they start giving me Liason, but they clearly have a different vision of Liason than what was originally cast in 1999-2002.  JMO.   I will always have Liason the way they were, and the way I envision, but I'm not gonna hang my hat on it ever being what I thought it might be.  Still hoping for Jason Q to come out and blow Sam's life up with the realization that she doesn't really accept him, and Elizabeth does...IDK.  We'll see.

I'm happy for Jalame fans, and hope they are satisfied with the soap story they wanted.
