Not sure why any of that would garner a 2.0 in the ratings unless it was nuKate's first day?

Yes, weird that it got a 2.0.   Thanks for posting!
There is just no way enough people (with Nielson boxes) would know that was going to be on to have it impact ratings. Some days are higher than others usually for no reason. Nothing was promo'ed for that day so unless you were an online fan who reads spoilers you wouldn't have a clue. Somedays more people can watch; they happen to be home and decide to check in with GH. They don't look at one day and say well look more people tuned in that day it must be for this or that. I never understand why we see a day that is higher or lower and automatically assume iti because of what/who was on that day. There really isn't anyway to know what was on except to watch or maybe read the 2 or 3 line CGS or DVR alert for the day. It used to be that people tuned in Fridays and Mondays. Friday would have the cliffhanger and Monday it would be answered. My Mom used to actually keep up with GH years ago that way smiley: laugh but recently Fridays are often the lowest days.

Now today was actually spoiled not just in a Mag but on Facebook (for over a month in the hold the date page) and in promo's so it will be interesting to see what the ratings for today and yesterday are like next week.

I sort of assume there are a core group of NR families that watch soaps and they probably therefore see certain promos and tune in, for example, S&B wedding, Sonny shooting Dante, Claudia dying, Carnival....but that is about it.  If that core group does the same it will be around the 2.2/2.3 because that seems to be the ABC type of group that is around.

We all have discussed this that it is only a very small number of people that have boxes to watch or not watch.   One household could make a difference, the person was home, flipped on the tv, there ya go it adds 100,000 viewers.

I would assume the online viewers that are 1.5 fans would be DVRing, but they may just watch you tube, who knows.
