Ok, let's try this again, shall we? smiley: tongue

I watched the clip of Dirty Soap, don't know why but it was probably out of some kind of morbid curiosity. I don't watch reality shows, except competition type reality shows like Hell's Kitchen and America's Next Top Model. So I have no idea how other reality shows are "acted" but I'd like to know, from anyone who watches some of the shows that follow a celeb/celebs, do they all seem this staged? Now I know that all reality shows have at least a portion, whether it be small or large, that is faked/scripted but maybe it's because I don't watch these kinds of reality shows that it just seemed more so in the clip.

As I watched I put my Sxx hate in a closet and tried to watch the clip with the idea of 'this is not the character I hate but an actress I know next to nothing about' and while I watched I couldn't get over how staged the opening of the fan mail seemed. Now obviously actors/actresses open some fan mail, that's not the part I found unbelievable, it was their reactions to things, nothing seemed genuine. With the scrap book I was a little insulted on the fan's behalf because instead of looking at it as 'oh that's sweet and must have taken a lot of time and effort' she mopes about her over with relationship and doesn't acknowledge the hard work the fan put into that scrapbook.

Honestly I already knew I wasn't going to watch this show, even if KeMo wasn't on it, since it's not the type of programing I watch anyway but the clip just solidified the fact that I won't watch it. It didn't get me wondering what else goes on behind the scenes, which is funny because I love knowing what goes on behind the scenes of many tv shows. I'll spend hours listening to commentaries and watching featurettes so this kind of reality show should be right up my alley or at least the alley next door but it's not. smiley: laugh
