After rereading these spoilers I think maybe they may not play out as bad towards Liz as they sound. First of all, Liz inviting Lucky to the pumpkin patch - there is nothing wrong with that, Lucky calling her out could be a complete over reaction on his part as he is won't to do on, well, everything. Lucky making an important decision that could be anything including pills over his children or walking away from the boys or quiting the force. And it is about time that Liz got angry. If Liz is angry she is a lot more likely to not let people walk all over her. Finally dashing Liz's hopes, that could be anything including that Lucky would be a decent father to their sons or that he could overcome his addiction or, yes, maybe the idea that they could be a family once again. Didn't Liz say last week that Lucky needs to save himself. Maybe she realizes that he doesn't want to and she can't save him. Liz has for years been trying to give her boys a home and a family, the stability and love that she didn't have. Isn't that what has influenced most of her choices regarding Jake, Lucky, and Jason. Maybe that permanent lock is about to be severed finally. And it is long overdue. I just do not want to have to watch her get stepped on by Lucky for the thousandth time again. I'd much rather they have it out and she move on.

ETA: I agree with liasonlove87 it is the air of desperation that makes the breakdowns sound awful. You would think GH has learned to write breakdowns that would make people want to watch, not want to change the channel. And I mean that for all the breakdowns, not just the Liz ones, although those are often the worse of the bunch.
