sunshine, I agree with everything you said. Niz are great friends; I've never denied that, and the one thing I do enjoy about their scenes is that they're slowly but surely repairing it. I, too, think it's great that Liz is being cautious. She has a right to be, and 100% should be considering her history. I think it's Nik who is running rough-shod. Not over Liz, but he's running as fast and as far from the fact that he still has feelings for Britt. But Liz, out of everyone in Nik's life, knows what that's like. Every man Liz has been in love with has made horrible choices or done horrible things and yet she has still loved them so yeah--she gets it. Nik, I think, is ready to jump in with both feet in a relaitonship with Liz simply to get over Britt. Liz, however, seems wise to this tactic and is holding back. Good for her! I really don't want her being another man's patsy ever again. In all honesty, Brik makes much more sense in the long run than Niz. The Cassadines/Obrect/Faison connection makes Brik an angst, drama-ridden pairing. Niz will never have that, I don't think. Niz could get stale and boring pretty quickly.

I can't imagine Jason--if he really does come back--ever being okay with Carly/Franco. But this is RC. . .so God only knows what will happen. Regarding Sam, I'm wondering if not only Silas will be an issue but also Julian. I'm wondering if Sam will ultimately have to choose between her husband and her father. What I want to know, though, is how Jason will react to knowing how AJ was really alive and that Sonny killed him in cold blood. I keep thinking back to when Jason apologized to AJ's grave. As for Elizabeth, I think she'll want to initially stay as far away from him as possible, simply because of her actions before his "death". But this would be the perfect opportunity to have Jason pursuing her instead of the other way around. It's really hard to say. Whatever happens with Jason--whether SBu ever comes back to the role or it's recasted--I'll be approaching cautiously. Been burned too many times. But there are a lot of ways RC could take it.

BTW, I'm not good with riddles either, so I have no idea how PCI prefaced Jason's possible return.

RC was planning on writing a Cain vs Abel story with Jason / AJ, so he probably would not give a poop about Jason apologizing to AJ's grave site.    There were spoilers that Todd was suppose to be Carly's "Jason" and keep AJ away from Michael.  Meh.  RC probably had no plans to do right by AJ in the first place other than allowing the man to bond with his son.

Niz.  The only drama for Niz would be Cassadine vs Spencer if Lucky ever returned to town.  I have no interest in seeing Liz or Nik trashed all over again in order for Lucky/JJ to spit and scream in their faces.smiley: mad

Brik.  RC loves cray cray stories and he has it all with Faison, Dr. O, Victor, Helena, Stavros when it comes to Nik and Britt.  RC wrote Spencer loving Britt and looking forward to her being his mother.   I can see Brik getting a HEA if the network decides to get out of the soap opera business, with Liz probably stuck either alone or with cry baby Lucky.  smiley: eyes

My main issue with a Jason return, is how RC totally screwed up AJ/SK's return to the show, Robin leaving town (again), writing Tracy like she's stupid when it comes to creepy Luke, and way too many newbies being shoved front and center.

Quiz.  It was really irritating how RC could write for Brik but never gave Quiz the opportunity for a real relationship or the chance for Liz and her boys to be part of the Quartermaine family.smiley: frown
