LOL! I agree about reading fanfiction; I sometimes confuse it for the 'real' story on TV. Good thing I don't watch anymore, although I do check the recaps once every two weeks or so. And then I remember why I don't watch the show any longer: it has nothing to do with me getting rid of my cable (no soap net) and going to all streaming, either!

Great point about Jake. He could have been a great storyline for years to come, but for whatever reason they blew the pooch. I don't follow much gossip about actors and such, but it seems like KM is a darling of the writers? Why? No real acting skills, looks going downhill fast and while soaps are notorious for redeeming and rehabbing bad characters, she was truly one that was not very redeemable.

Also agree about Liz and kids – she's a great role model as a mother, except for her choices in men. I often wonder why they must recycle her with the same guys... over and over. And why she'd go there? Isn't it time for a new man to come along who will put her first? I wondered about Nathan when I read about him at first, but now that he's Britt's bro... not gonna happen. Unless they bring Jason back and rewrite and finish that story, I'd rather see her with someone entirely new.  I wouldn't want her with Patrick, although they'd be pretty! I like their friendship too much and would hate to see that spoiled.

I told a friend recently that they should just combine all of the soaps into one communal soap opera. At least then the characters could meet and sleep with new people. I don't know... Dylan McAvoy and Liz Webber maybe? Or how about RH's real husband coming on the show and them getting together?  smiley: laugh

Why does GH not have women able to be friends? Seriously, Emily and Liz, Robin and Liz, Sabrina and Liz... I'm sensing a trend there... but the show never seems to develop female friendships. The men, no problem. Mob rules, male camaraderie and loyalty, but GNO's were the only sign we had that the women could cohabit even a little bit together.

Just my random thoughts for the day...
