Some parts were left out on purpose, but we tried to capture what Liason is. Hopefully, you will all like it.
Title page:
Their story began one night at Jake's.......that turned into an unexpected friendship......and then turned into something there are no words to describe.....
~Friendship ~ Passion ~ Family ~ Love ~ Goodbyes ~

A love that doesn't die
10 years and counting.........

In the town of Port Charles, Elizabeth Webber was a wild flower. Jason Morgan had once been the safe minded Jason Quartermaine. Elizabeth transformed from a rebellious teen to a strong minded "safe" woman, whose taste for danger always lingered. Jason Morgan had transformed himself from a disciplined doctor to-be into a bad boy.....a mob hit-man with a heart of gold.
Page 4:
One fateful night in August 1999, Elizabeth runs into Jason after he defends her from a bar patron who wouldn't take no for an answer. Elizabeth tells Jason to mind his own damn business. She asks him if he knows what nothing feels like. He says it's where he lives.
Elizabeth and Jason sit down........Elizabeth tells him about her pain and Jason listens. They talk about life and she says he gets it.
Jason invites Elizabeth for her first bike ride. He tells her he wants to show her how he gets away, and invites her for a ride to nowhere.
Elizabeth tells Jason thank you for the ride.......for everything. He tells her anytime.
Their friendship begins.
Page 6:
One evening, Elizabeth finds Jason laying in the snow, bleeding from a gunshot wound and takes him back to her studio. As she nurses him back to health, their friendship deepens.
"When someone saves your life, when they find you in the snow and they drag you up and they make you walk and bring you help when you told them not to, then make you drink gallons of soup.....and when they lie to everyone they know....That's more than friends."
Page 7:
Once healed, Jason decides to move out of the studio, but not before telling Elizabeth "there's no word what I feel for you"
After Elizabeth is accosted by one of his enemies, Jason feels that he is putting those he cares about in danger and so he decides to leave town. Jason tells Elizabeth he is leaving because people he cares about are hurting every day because of him, including her. Elizabeth tells him he is wrong, she doesn't hurt because of him, she would hurt without him. Jason tells her she isn't losing him, he's just going away. He kisses her forehead, and says goodbye. Elizabeth tells him No, it's I'll see you later.Page 8:
Jason returned for a short period of time in 2000. Elizabeth was overjoyed to see him, and their friendship picked right up as if he had never left. They then teamed up to find Emily, Jason's sister and Elizabeth's best friend who had been kidnapped. After successfully finding and saving her, Jason left town again for business.Page 9:
Jason returned in 2001, and needing a place to hide for awhile, he turned to Elizabeth, knowing he could trust her.
While hiding in the studio Jason and Elizabeth reconnected and confided in each other. Elizabeth was struggling with the fact she was no longer the same girl that had pledged her love to Lucky, but a grown woman with her own wants and needs. Jason was able to understand and comfort her. Jason spent Valentine's Day with Elizabeth, giving her a piece of red glass from Italy. The glass and the gift represented all the things Elizabeth needed in her lift, but was lacking. Freedom, Italy, her passion for art and Jason.
Page 10:
As Elizabeth's white roses fell to the ground, their unspoken feelings for each other could no longer be ignored. It was clear from the longing looks that Jason and Elizabeth wanted nothing more than to be in each other's arms.
Page 11:
After the fire, Elizabeth attempted to deny her feelings for Jason, but she found herself drawn to him regardless. Instead of following her heart, she allowed her guilt over Lucky to her push her to distance herself further from Jason.
Page 12:
Elizabeth tries to stay away from Jason, thinking it's the right thing to do. But she can't stay away. She tells Jason she's sorry for hurting him.
Jason tells her "I don't want you sorry, and I don't want you hurt. Don't you know what you are to me?"
Jason tells Elizabeth there's something real between them and it doesn't matter how it started, it matters what they do with it. Jason tells her he doesn't want to watch her hurt....he wants to see her smile like when she's free. He wants to show her the light it different in Italy than anywhere else in the world. He asks her if she will come with him. Elizabeth is clearly torn over her feelings for Jason, and obligation to Lucky. She tells Jason she can't leave when Lucky needs her, and she walks away.
Page 13:
Jason returns in 2002, and runs into Elizabeth at Kelly's. They quickly catch up.......Elizabeth tells Jason she's doing great, but he can tell she's not. Elizabeth confesses that she has broken up with Lucky.
Elizabeth becomes upset and leaves a party at Kelly's. She runs into Jason, and asks if they can go somewhere, saying she really needs him right now. They go to Elizabeth's studio, where she admits that she wishes she had left with him when he asked. Jason asks Elizabeth what does she want. Elizabeth tells Jason, "You", and pulls him in for their first kiss.
Page 14:
Worried about possible retaliation, Jason tells Elizabeth she can't call him until he says it's ok. Elizabeth laughs and thanks him for the warning, but tells him he doesn't need to worry about her. Jason tells Elizabeth "Yes I do".
After Jason leaves, Elizabeth ends up being kidnapped by men who think she is Jason's girlfriend. Jason becomes desperate to find her, even working with the police and his nemesis Taggert.
Jason learns that Elizabeth is being kept in a crypt, and upon arriving there, finds her unconscious due to a gas leak. He pulls her out just before the crypt explodes.
Later at the hospital, Jason gives Elizabeth a postcard from Italy. Elizabeth tells Jason that she held on as long as she did in the crypt because she knew Jason would find her. "My faith in you was unshakable and justified".
Elizabeth is worried that Jason will push her away to try and keep her safe, unless he didn't like her anymore. Jason admits he likes Elizabeth, who says "Good, cause I like you to". They both agree No Bailing.
Page 15:
After Elizabeth was released, she returned to her studio. Jason was worried how safe she would be there and wants Elizabeth to be able to protect herself. Elizabeth thinks she would be able to defend herself with her trusty artists knife, and tries it out on Jason.
Jason tells Elizabeth she needs something better to defend herself, and takes Elizabeth shopping.
They come back to the studio with a baseball bat, and Elizabeth tells Jason he is the most original gift giver she knows. Jason says the bat gives her more power and distance and he teaches Elizabeth how to use the bat.
Page 16:
Jason tries to push Elizabeth away, telling her innocent people get hurt around him. She tells him she is willing to take the chance, he says he's not. Jason thinks he should just leave because he doesn't want to hurt Elizabeth.
Elizabeth tricks Jason into meeting her at Vista Point, and she tells Jason they can still meet and be friends in private. But Jason says he doesn't want to take a chance that she will get hurt because of him. He tells Elizabeth they can't see each other anymore and turns to leave, but Elizabeth gets upset and calls him a liar. She says he isn't running away to protect her, he is running away to protect himself. Elizabeth tells Jason it's not ok for him to just drop out of her life, she would miss him too much. Jason pulls Elizabeth into a kiss, and then walks away.
They later run into each other at Vista Point and talk. Elizabeth asks Jason if what they have is over. Jason says nothing is really over. Elizabeth opens up that she is scared Jason will leave without saying goodbye and she would miss him. She asks Jason why he is pushing her away. Jason says his life is too dangerous and he can't be the friend she thought he was, and he walks away again.
Page 17:
After Elizabeth is shot at, Jason has her move into his penthouse until the danger has passed.
After Jason returns from a job injured, Elizabeth finally admits that Jason is the one she wants to be with. Jason admits he wants to be with her too. Elizabeth says "Finally we agree on something".Page 18:
Before Jason heads out to work for the night, he invites Elizabeth to play a game of pool. They talk about his job and the night Elizabeth found him in the snow. She tells Jason that her life after him was different than her life before. Jason tells her that she's beautiful, smart, and makes him see things he didn't...she has a lot of dreams which is good because he hardly has any so he can believe in her's. That's what she brings to his life. He doesn't understand what he gives her. She tells him he listened when no one else could hear her. He trusted her to live her own life when she didn't trust herself. He makes her happy. He makes her feel free.
That night, Jason helps Sonny fake his death, but he doesn't tell Elizabeth. Believing that Sonny really is dead, Elizabeth tries her best to comfort Jason.
Elizabeth finds out that Sonny is alive and is furious that Jason lied to her. She feels like a fool when she finds out that others were in on the hoax too. She wonders if Jason knows that he's killed any chance for them. Jason says he hated lying to her. Jason tells her that the hoax had nothing to do with her. She says he doesn't get it - she's here and she's in it, and she counts. She realizes that he will be Sonny's enforcer first, last, and always. She hopes that's enough for him, and then she walks out of the penthouse.Page 19:
Due to Jason and Elizabeth's now strained relationship, they both attempted to fill the void with other people. Though anger was their constant companions whenever they were near, it was easy to see that they still longed for the connection they once shared.
However when one needed the other, they were there, no questions asked. They turned to each other when Elizabeth's best friend and Jason's sister Emily became ill, and slowly started to repair their friendship. Jason was there for Elizabeth when she temporarily lost her eyesight, and was able to comfort her.
Elizabeth and Jason both became involved with other loves, attempting to move on with their lives. Elizabeth became pregnant, and left town to have her baby, but not before telling Jason goodbye.
Page 20:
Elizabeth returned to Port Charles with a beautiful baby boy named Cameron and the degree and desire to work as a nurse at GH. Jason tried to create a family with another woman and unfortunately in the process of fulfilling that dream, their baby was stillborn. It was a loss of which Jason had never experienced and regardless of whom they were with or the mistakes of the past, Elizabeth was there for him in this trying time. Their bond- never broken but only weakened- was renewed in the face of this horrible tragedy.
Shortly after Jason meets Elizabeth's son. They discuss their friendship and his relationship with Sam, after coping with the loss of a child. Elizabeth encourages Jason to follow his heart, but he comments that it's complicated.
Page 21:
In 2006, Jason and Elizabeth worked together when a deadly virus hit General Hospital and affects their loved ones, including Sam and Lucky.
Later, Elizabeth talks to Jason when he was having a difficult time accepting that his sister Emily was dating his boss Sonny. He was worried about her safety. Elizabeth tells Jason that there are other ways of getting hurt. "You can fall in love, give up on it, because people keep telling you it's wrong and you start doubting every thing you feel and it pushes you to make safe choices, but Love Shouldn't be Safe"
Soon after, Elizabeth is taken hostage by Manny, and Lucky is hurt in the crossfire. Jason is able to track Manny down and saves Elizabeth.
