11/01/2009: Many have expressed lately wanting to show their support for another great couple, Skate! Here is the newest SOS Postcard you can use to help do that:

Bring Back the Real Bensonhurst Romance! Reunite Sonny and Kate!

Sonny and Kate's Bensonhurst romance had the highest ratings for GH in the last two years when 100% of the daily ratings were 2.2 or higher with 86% of the days 2.4 or higher (highest day, 2.7). In July and August of 2009, with Sonny chasing after Olivia while vowing to Claudia to make their marriage work, GH ratings were the lowest in its history with 57% of July days 1.8 or below and 65% of August days 1.8 or below.

10/06/09: Week one of the campaign is in full swing. SOS will be mailing out over 8000 postcards over the next 4 weeks! Want to help us send over 10,000??!! Hippo-post is currently running a special where you can send out 10 free postcards a day!!

Sonny Corinthos, once written as an intelligent, street-wise mobster with a heart of gold, underwent a 180-transformation with no explaination.
Suddenly he's a dumbed-down, sleazy, caddish character who has lost his brain and his heart.

Jason Morgan, the once feared enforcer with morals, strict loyalties, and a code of honor, who never let his friends or family down, is unrecognizable.
He is now a neglectful father, traipsing around town caring for other children, and showing no loyality, intelligence, or respect for himself or others.

GH needs to get both of these male leads back on track. Due to the current writing for these characters, viewers frin little to hope for or invest in, which will eventually lead to apathy for the characters and the show. Bring back the "real" Sonny and the "real" Jason. They have been missing in action for far too long!

Save these lead characters and Save Our Soap!

Since Jason and Liz were broken up12/11-12/08, GH has had a new low three times (1.9, 4/6-10/09; 1.8, 4/20-24/09; and 1.7, 06/22-26/09). Jason and Liz together romantically, 09/16/08, last daily 2.5 GH received; Jason and Sam together romantically, 08/25/09 received a 1.7 daily. Put Jason and Liz where they belong, together, and watch the ratings increase. Jason and Liz will help Save Our Soap!

The SOS Campaign is looking at having another big postcard mailout soon. These new postcards will be more GH focused and less couple focused, yet all with the same goal in mind: a BETTER GH and showing a united front with large numbers from across North America.

We are looking for volunteers interested in sending these postcards out. We will have them printed and then sent to you to mail out to the 8-10 contacts. The new postcards will feature-

-The Blue postcard featuring the veterans as featured on the Facebook or Twitter page
-A postcard featuring Strong Independent Women (Liz/Kate/Alexis/Diane/Robin and possibly also include Ephiany, Carly and Kelly Le)
-A Sonny and Jason postcard (Asking where have the real Sonny and Jason gone)
-Possibly a Crimson postcard (Focusing on Kate/Lulu/Maxie)

If there is enough interest, we would also print out another batch of Liason postcards (or have a new one designed, that is still up in the air)

So here's what I need to know from those interested. Please PM me with this information-

-How many are you able to mail out?
-Are there any of the above postcards you specifically would NOT want to send, or are you open to sending all of them?
-Please include your name and mailing address
