Chapter Fifteen
Penthouse
When Elizabeth, Jason and Francis got off the elevator Francis opened the penthouse door for them and Jason picked Elizabeth up and carried her over the threshold. They were kissing and didn't notice they had company. "JASON!" WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Carly screamed and Jason turned around and went back out the door and closed it behind them.
"Francis, I'm sure you heard Carly, find out how she got up here. Baby, we need to take our rings off." They took their rings off and handed them to Francis.
"Jason, I'm going on upstairs, you can deal with her on your own. I'll be waiting for you, I love you."
They walked back in and Liz went straight upstairs completely ignoring Carly as she stumbled back when they opened the door. "What are you doing here Carly?
"I just came by to see my best friend. Am I not welcome over here anymore since Liz moved in, Jase?"
"No Carly you are not. You don't like Elizabeth and you never miss a chance to let it be known. She has to avoid stress and you're stressful on a good day. Give me your key; you won't be needing it anymore."
"What do you mean I won't need it anymore? I've always had a key to your apartment."
"The thing about that is I never gave you a key. Since Liz will be living here and you hate her; I'm sure she doesn't want you letting yourself into her home. Would you want her having a key to your house?"
"She didn't waste any time moving in and taking over; did she?"
"No I didn't waste any time moving her in and letting her take over. I'm going to tell you something else you don't want to hear. Elizabeth and Cam are not just here because she's having my baby; they are here because I always wanted them to be here with me. The baby was just the excuse for me to make it happen. Since you never gave me a reason for being here; I want to finish our date. Elizabeth is upstairs waiting on me Carly and I really want to go to her."
"Jase, she is just going to break your heart when she goes back to Lucky."
"If she breaks my heart it will be my heart not yours. Carly, I'm a man and I don't need you to fight my battles or to run my life. I'm not going to let you or anyone else come between me and Elizabeth ever again. Now if you want to be a friend, you'll let me be happy with the woman I choose. You don't have to be her friend but you have to respect that this is her home now. If you need to see me; I'll come to you when I can. Carly you also need to respect that I have a family of my own and they come first; you need to think of that before you do something stupid. I can't drop everything and come running anymore Carly because my family comes first."
"I thought Michael was your family. You're just going to forget all about him because muffin got pregnant from another one night stand. You promised you would always be there for Michael; Jase you promised."
"Carly I will continue to be there for you, Michael and Morgan but my family comes first. Please Carly don't put them up to calling me because they are just going to be upset that I'm not going to come running anymore. They have a father and a stepfather to turn to; you need to encourage those relationships instead of setting them up to be hurt by me. You need to think about what's best for them Carly and not what's best for you all the time."
"Jase, you're what's best for them."
"Then why in hell did you marry Jax if you weren't going to let him be a father to them?"
"Jax is good to the boys but they still need you, Jason."
"Are you talking about the boys or you? Carly you are a grown woman and it's time you started to act like one. You always want people to think you are tough and worldly; why don't you act like it for a change. A lot of best friends don't talk to each other every hour; they don't even talk to each other every day and they are still friends. I'm not turning my back on you and I won't unless you do something to try to hurt Elizabeth because if you do anything to hurt her; I'll have to rethink our friendship. By the way Elizabeth is not a one night stand and no matter how many times you say that it's not going to make it true."
"Well she got herself pregnant after one night; that makes her a one night stand."
"She may have gotten pregnant after one night but that's not the only time I've been with her. She didn't get herself pregnant; I was right there with her. We made that baby together and we're going to raise him together with Cam. If you were really my best friend you would be happy for me."
"If it was anybody but Elizabeth; I would be thrilled that you are finally having a baby. She has hurt you so much in the past…"
He cut her off, "You're right; in the past. Carly, you hurt me too and you're hurting me now. I can look in your eyes and tell you are going to do something or you have already done something that is going to force me to keep my children away from you. I won't forgive you for hurting them Carly." He picked up her bag and handed it to her and escorted her to the door and opened it. "Francis get someone to change the locks on the door tomorrow and if anyone gives a copy to Carly; that's it for them. We don't want to be disturbed tonight Francis." He gave her a slight shove out the door and closed and locked it behind her.
"Jason has always been a good friend to you; it's too bad you never returned the favor."
"What do you know Francis? You don't know a damn thing about my friendship with Jason. Nobody understands the bond that we have."
Francis held the elevator doors open for her, "I understand he just pushed you out the door and is changing the locks. I know he's probably already upstairs with Elizabeth. And I know she's making him forget all about your little visit. But hey, what do I know I'm just a guard." He guided her into the elevator and pushed the button. "I know he's not going to turn his back on his wife." He said after the doors closed.
Alexis Davis' Office
"Lucky should you be out of the hospital; you don't look so good." Lucky's skin was pale and glistening with perspiration.
"I'm still in a lot of pain from the injury but I can't take anything stronger than aspirins because I don't want to get hooked on painkillers again. I don't want them to be able to use that against me. Alexis, I need to know if I have the right to demand that Liz have another paternity test. She led me to believe this baby was mine for six months and now all of a sudden it's Jason Morgan's child. What are my options Alexis?"
"Lucky we can petition the judge to get another test done but if her doctor advises her against it you will have to wait until the baby is born."
"Kelly Lee is her friend; what's to keep her from lying or exaggerating to keep her from having the test."
"We can always ask for an independent doctor to examine her medical records. It would be in your best interests to wait until the child is born, if that is what her doctor says."
"Why shouldn't I push for the test to be done before the baby is born?"
"It could be seen as you not being concerned for the baby's welfare by putting him at risk. The baby is not going anywhere and my advice would be to wait until it's born." She saw the determined look on his face and sighed, "I'll draw up the papers requesting another paternity test, if that is what you really want."
"Yes Alexis, that's what I want. I will lose my mind if I have to wait for three months to find out if the baby is mine. If the baby is mine do I have any options regarding her living arrangements? Is there any way I can force her to move out of Jason's penthouse if the baby is mine? Even if we have to wait until the baby is born to have the test; can I petition or something to have her leave Jason's place because of the danger?"
"If I were you Lucky; I would leave that alone. I understand your concerns regarding her living with Jason but if you pursue this they can bring up the fact that you were the reason she was in the hospital a week ago."
"That was an accident, I didn't mean for her to fall."
"You may not have meant for her to fall but she did after you grabbed her."
"What if I threaten to bring charges against her grandmother for shooting me?"
"Audrey Hardy is a pillar of the community and bringing charges against her will come back to bite you. She tried to protect her pregnant granddaughter from her fiancée that was attacking her and with her reputation that would be hard to disprove."
"I wasn't attacking her!"
"A first year law student could make her come out smelling like a rose and you the villain. Lucky let's just start with the petition for the test and go from there. I'll have this before the judge tomorrow and Elizabeth will be served the next day. Okay?"
"Okay, thanks Alexis. Will I hear from you tomorrow?" Lucky asked as he got up to leave.
"Yes Lucky, I'll call you tomorrow after I see the Judge. You need to go home and get some rest. I'll take care of everything, goodnight Lucky." She got up and walked him to the door thinking if he wasn't Nik's brother she wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole.
Penthouse
Jason walked into the bedroom expecting to see Elizabeth in bed but she wasn't there. He ran back downstairs and threw the door open and Francis took his hand out of his pocket and held out the rings to Jason. "Thanks Francis, I almost forgot these. Could you do us a favor and pick up some chains for us to put these on tomorrow?"
"How long are you planning on keeping this a secret Jason?"
"I don't know. You know all hell is going to break loose when it comes out and I just want to enjoy my wife for a while before that happens."
"I don't blame you, Jason. I am really happy for you and Elizabeth. I always thought you two were meant for each other."
"Thanks Francis, I've never been happier. I've got to get upstairs to my wife, Elizabeth; I love the sound of that, Elizabeth is my wife. Goodnight."
"Goodnight Jason."
Jason took the steps three at a time and rushed back into the bedroom and started taking off his clothes. Elizabeth came out of the bathroom and Jason's breath caught in his throat. "You look beautiful Mrs. Morgan," Jason smiled as he took in appearance. She had on a pale pink short negligee. The bodice was made of lace, fitting snugly across her bust and then layers of chiffon stopping at the top of a lace boy shorts.
She slowly turned around and asked, "Do you like, husband of mine?"
"I love it wife. I think I might just have to move them to the side." He had removed everything but his boxer briefs and he walked over to Liz and took her hand and turned her around again. "Baby you are so beautiful but I can tell you now; I have always loved your ass. Now I can touch it and see it whenever I want to. You don't know how many times I've had to put my hands in my pockets to keep from copping a feel of that luscious ass. It's looking mighty good peeking out of that lace." He turned her around and got on his knees and kissed each cheek. He ran his hand up her thigh and moved the panties aside and traced her folds. "Oh baby, you're already wet for me." He stood up and picked her up and took her to their bed and placed her on the edge. He kneeled between her legs and reached up and pulled her panties off. "I didn't want any distractions." He said in answer to her unspoken question. He buried his face in her curls and inhaled deeply. "I can't believe this sweet pussy is all mine." Elizabeth rose up on her elbows so she could watch him make love to her. He parted her folds and started slowly licking her and then he fucked her with his tongue while gently rubbing her nub. When he felt her shudder he replaced his tongue with two fingers as he nibbled and licked her pearl.
"Jason it's so good…I'm…I'm…Oh God….Jaaassonnn!" She screamed as she found her release. He moved his fingers and let her ride his tongue to the end. Her arms turned to rubber and she fell back onto the bed. "I'm so glad I married you. I love you so much Jason."
He got up and picked her up and put her under the covers. "I'm glad you married me too and I love you just as much. Rest baby, I'll be right back." He kissed her and walked into the bathroom. He came back out and picked up their rings from his nightstand, got in bed and snuggled up next to Liz. He picked up her left hand and put her rings back where they belonged and then put his ring back on. "I don't know how long I'm going to be able to keep this secret. I want to shout to the world that you are my wife and you belong to me."
"I thought you were all 'nobody belongs to anybody'. What happened to that Jason?"
"He married the woman of his dreams; you belong to me just like I belong to you. You are the only person I trust enough to say that about. I willingly give myself to you body and soul."
"And I willingly give myself to you body and soul. You may kiss your bride." She giggled as he leaned in and kissed her thoroughly.
"Get some rest wife because you're all I want for breakfast."
Carly is such a screecher. I'm
glad he told her to leave and he's getting the locks changed. Can't wait for more.
