The next morning, Jason rolled over and tugged at the edge of Elizabeth's nightgown. It was pale pink satin, a welcome to our new bed gift, she had said with a sultry smile on her face. He had removed it with his teeth, sliding pale pink satin down her body to reveal pale white skin and pink nipples. She was so pretty, he thought, looking at her now. Dainty limbs and soft, soft skin. Beautiful brown hair that curled around her lovely face. He was absolutely, completely, head over heels in love with her and he just did not understand how he had survived without her.
They had put the boys to bed in their new rooms last night, each curled up with their puppy. Elizabeth had balked at first at dogs on the bed, but Jason had convinced her that she could say no, but once she was out of the room, the dogs would be on the beds anyways, so why not just say yes? He had no worries about dogs on the bed. He wanted those boys imprinted on the dogs, so that each dog's loyalty was completely with their little master.
Then they had repaired to the master bedroom and Elizabeth had changed into her little pink number and he had thrown her on the big king size bed and had his way with her. She then had her way with him. All in all a satisfactory arrangement. He slid his hand up her soft, soft thigh and cupped her ass. So soft, so delicious. He loved her butt. He loved watching her walk in front of him in faded blue jeans or in one of those tight skirts she wore sometimes. He loved holding it when he lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist. Even more, he loved holding it when it was naked and he was driving into her. And, he needed her to wake up right now.
"Elizabeth," he whispered in her ear, smoothing curly hair away from it. "Elizabeth wake up, we have a problem."
Her eyes flew open. "What's wrong?" she said with alarm.
He felt a little bad for waking her up like that, but not really. He pulled her over to him and pressed his cock against her. "I'm horny and the boys are going to wake up soon. We need to get moving." He started kissing down her neck.
"You are such a brat," she said, stretching her neck to accommodate him. "It's a good thing morning sex is my favorite."
"Is it now? Well, that's information that I needed to know. I'll have to improve my technique evenings and afternoons." He spread her legs and rubbed her already moist pussy, sliding one finger inside her.
"God, if you got any better at this I don't think I could stand it," she said, stroking his length.
He rolled onto his back and pulled her on top of him and she rubbed up and down his cock, making him groan. "Now, baby. I can't wait."
She took him in her little hand and slide down on him, both of them drawing deep breaths at the exquisite feeling.
"Now this is the way to start a day," he said, as she put her hands on his pecs and began moving, her breasts bobbing in front of his eyes. He captured one in his mouth, bringing her down to him and she sighed at the sensation.
When he lifted his mouth away, she brought her lips to his, kissing him, licking at his lips, sucking them, stroking his tongue with hers.
"Oh, baby," he moaned.
"I love you, Jason," she cried out, moving faster. "Oh, oh, oh!"
"That's my girl. Are you going to come now, baby? Are you going to come for me?" He drove up into her, hand going to the sensitive bud between her legs.
"Yes, Jason."
"Right now?" he asked, moving his fingers and driving hard.
"Oh yes! Right now. Right now!" She fell into a thousand pieces around him, shivering and rippling and it drew him in and he couldn't hold back.
"Elizabeth!" he called out. "Elizabeth!"
"Mmm," she said, moments later, draped across his chest. "How much better is that than waking up to an alarm clock?"
"There is nothing better," he said, chest still heaving. "Nothing could possibly be better."
"Daddy!" they heard Jake call.
"Okay, that's pretty good too," he said.
"You better get moving, Dad, because I don't want those dogs peeing on my new floors." She slapped him lightly on the butt.
"Hey now, none of that. I have dogs to walk."
She watched as he threw on jeans and a t-shirt and headed for the door. "Jason?"
"Yeah, baby?" He turned towards her.
"I love you. You've made all my dreams come true."
He walked back to the bed and picked her up and hugged her as tight as he could. "I didn't even know what a dream was until I met you," he said.
"Daddy! Wufus want out," Jake yelled.
He dropped Elizabeth back on the bed. "Duty calls," he said.
She laid back, arms spread out and then realized she'd better get dressed. Good decision, she realized a couple of seconds later when Cam came barrelling into her room. "Mommy, me and Jake and Daddy are taking Rufus and Ziggy for a walk."
"Okay, sweetheart. I'll go get breakfast ready."
"Mommy, you're not going to cook are you?" Cam asked, looking worried.
"No, silly. I'm going to get the cereal out and cut up some fruit."
"Okay," Cam said.
Elizabeth laughed at how worried he was that she would cook. She was going to take some cooking classes and show all three of those smartie pants, she decided.
A little while later, she was buzzing around the kitchen, setting some places on the table in the little breakfast nook that looked out on the back yard. She could see Jason and the boys and dogs, running around, throwing a ball that the puppies were chasing. It was such a normal, family scene and her heart just melted at the thought that this was happening with Jason. He was lighter, she realized, happier. She had never seen him smile so much and while he had always had a dry sense of humor, it hadn't been much in evidence in recent years. But now he was making jokes with her, teasing her.
The family came in through the back door, puppies running around their feet. All three of her men had red cheeks from the early morning cold.
"Come on," she said. "Come and eat." She put a plate of sliced oranges on the table and poured cereal into two bowls. The boys sat down. "I made you coffee, sweetheart," Elizabeth said to Jason.
He was so delighted to hear her call him sweetheart that he had poured himself a cup of her coffee before he thought about it. Oh well, too late to back out now, he thought, preparing himself for her usual weak brew. Which is why extra strong coffee he gulped down suprised him even more. She must have used half a pound for one pot, he thought. Even for him it was a little much.
"I made it stronger," she said. "Because you said you liked it that way."
She was trying to do nice things for him and he'd be damned if he hurt her feelings. "It's great," he said, as the coffee burned its way into his guts.
She smiled and suddenly the awful coffee was more than worth it.
He was about to kiss her when his phone rang. "Morgan," he said. "He listened for a moment. "Calm down, Sonny. I'll just go to the office." He turned to Elizabeth. "I have to take this call," he said. "I'll be in the office."
"Okay, oh, Jason, you forgot your coffee."
"Oh, yeah, the coffee." He accepted the cup and headed down the hallway. Reaching his office he said, "Okay, what's up?"
"Sam was kidnapped," Sonny said. "Spinelli was just here. He's a mess. He's pretty sure she is being held in one of the abandoned ships down in the dock yard."
"Okay, get Cody on it. Tell him to put together a crew and go take a look."
"You're...you're not going to look yourself?" Sonny asked.
"Sonny, do you know how many times I rescued Sam when we were together? And it was usually because she had done something stupid to get herself in trouble in the first place. Now, Sam is not my girlfriend, I don't even speak to her and I doubt this has anything to do with business, so no, I'm not going to look for her."
"Wow, okay, Jason. This is just such a change. I mean you always rescued Sam, Carly, everybody."
"Not anymore. They are grown women and they need to learn to start relying on their own selves when they get in trouble. I don't want Sam to be hurt, but I'm not the one to rescue her. She has nothing to do with our business."
"What if it's one of our enemies?"
"Sonny, do you really thing that any of our enemies would be operating on research that old? I've been with Elizabeth for over a month. I've publically claimed Jake and adopted Cameron. Why would an enemy kidnap an old girlfriend?"
"Yeah, you're right. Sounds like Sam got herself into trouble. I'll call Cody."
"Good." Jason hung up. He was about to head back into the kitchen, when the guard knocked at the office door. "Damien Spinelli here to see you," he said.
Jason contemplated refusing him, but then decided not to. It was time Spinelli heard the cold, hard truth.
"Stonecold! Oh, thank the gods I have found you. The Goddess, they have taken the Goddess."
"Yeah, I know, Spinelli. I told Cody to up together a team to look for her. They'll find her."
"I don't understand, Stonecold. They have taken your love. The yin to your yang, your other half."
"Spinelli, sit," Jason said.
The awkward young man sat in the chair in front of the desk.
"I don't know how to get this through your head. Sam is not my other half, she was a huge mistake."
"But, Stonecold..."
"No, Spinelli. I really don't understand why you are so invested in me being with her. I'm not stopping you from spending time with her, in fact you don't work for me anymore because you are more loyal to her than me. But your refusal to see that I have the life I want, that I just don't understand. What's in it for you if I'm with Sam? Away from my family, my kids and Elizabeth?"
"Because the Goddess is the one woman on this earth fit for your life, Stonecold. She can ride with you, she can shoot with you, she can solve crimes with you, she can..."
"I don't love her, Spinelli."
"But, but you do! You let her back into your heart. I saw it myself."
"No what you saw was a man half dead, trying to feel something, anything. She is the reason Jake was kidnapped the first time. She watched someone take my son. Then she refused to help when Elizabeth begged her. Then she rubbed Jake's loss in Elizabeth's face. Then she hired men to threaten Elizabeth and make herself look like a hero. Maybe you should be asking me why I forgot that? Maybe you should be asking what kind of a man does that to his family?"
"But Stonecold, you and the goddess are good together."
No, Spinelli, we're not. I don't love her. I don't think I ever did. Yeah, her background made her an easy fit for me, but she's not the one who painted the wind for me. She's not the one who picked me up out of the snow when I was bleeding and forced me to live. She's not the one who has supported me through every fucking awful moment of my life, whether we were together or not. That's all Elizabeth. She finds me when I am in the greatest despair. When Emily was dying of cancer, Elizabeth was there to hold me and cry with me. When Emily actually did die, Elizabeth held me again. Every time. Every time I need her, she is there, with her arms open. Don't you understand that is worth more than a thousand chicks who can shoot a gun without breaking a sweat?"
"So you're just going to let Sam rot? She's been kidnapped, Stonecold!"
"And I have men looking for her. And they'll find her. It's not like my men can't work without me being there. Now, you need to go. And you need to get over this idea you have that all will be right in your world as long as I'm with Sam. That's more than a little weird. Build your own life. I have."
"But Stonecold.."
"Good bye, Spinelli." Jason opened the door and led him out.
Walking down the drive, Spinelli made a phone call. "Abort the mission. He's not buying it."

Maybe Jase can turn the dogs loose on him when they're a little bigger. I love the dog too--great
addition. Can hardly wait for the next update.
